room cleaned well comfy bed
decor outdated/wallpaper falling off walls/holes in ceiling. staff were rude no personal touch/friendliness from them. breakfast was cold, greasy not enough choice. lounge areas were uncomfortable-furtiture broken or ripped. will not stay again
The staff were very helpful and nice. We had a very relaxing and satisfying time. We also enjoyed the nice views from the sea view rooms. Thanks for everything.
I shared a club level sea view room with two of my kids. Room and view were really lovely, with a lovely balcony. The staff on that floor were very good and attentive.
My mum had room on ground level with my other two kids, facing car park. Very tired old scruffy room. Desperate need of an uplift. Extremely noisy in the morning with delivery and dustmen lorries. The Gym was awful too. Broken dangerous equipment.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and indoor pool a definite bonus. Breakfast was included and there was a good menu to choose from.
Comfortable beds and clean with a beautiful view of the coast
Shower was inadequate probably because of water pressure and age.
Booked two single rooms for myself and girlfriend only to find one on ground floor and one one on second floor and rooms a lot smaller than the one I stopped in next 2weeks before will not be returning I'm afraid
Value for money Good helpful staff Room comfortable for the three of us. Breakfast very good
I raised the issue of the thermostat not working on the shower because the water was scalding hot. No one came to fix. This is a health and safety issue it needs fixing. Wifi kept clashing with the Cumberland
Hotel was well situated and staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is a little tired and the decor could do with a little updating.
Tired decor and very small bathroom.
Breakfast and restaurant manager very cheerful, and outside the hotel.
Where it was, staff are helpful and welcoming.
Friendly staff Breakfast nice
Whole hotel is very dated, old paintwork, beds etc Car alarms going off at night Quite far from town with small children
indoor swimming pool near to beach good mix of guests
evening entertainment obviously suitable for the older guests.
Breakfast Location Friendly staff Free parking
Decoration- needs updating
Pool, price, room, breakfast, staff, Parking
Outside areas and communal areas including reception need updating to give better first impression.
Single room was a bit of a cubby hole. Not enough power in shower to be able to even wash my hair.
Bed was like a rock Room v. Small
The staff could not have been more helpful or polite. Our room was kept clean, with fresh towels daily and topped up with tea and coffee. The breakfast was plentiful with a good amount of choice. The location of the hotel was perfect being just across from the beach.
The room we were allocated was very small and cramped. There was only one old lift for what seems quite a big hotel.
loved every thing about the hotel the staff were really lovely so polite and friendly a real credit to you the comfort of the room was lovely, bed great would definatly recommend to friends and have done. thank you for a wonderful break.
just 1 thing I would say is that you could do with some sort of air con or fans in the dinning room it was very very hot when having our meals and to be honest we were all sweating buckets. again the staff were wonderful. thank you
The location was great.
The rooms were tiny and badly needed a make over.
Lovely quiet room and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Only ate at the hotel on Sunday - good value carvery. Next morning staff remembered my daughter was a veggie and brought out her own supply of vegetarian sausages- good attention to customer.
Was all very clean
Rooms seemed quite dated.
Location Reasonable price Free parking Didn't use the bar or restaurant but saw lots of very happy families Seemed like a great family hotel in good location and with nice child friendly indoor pool and plenty of entertainment
Creaky floor boards from room above Poor soundproofing Tired furniture and decor TV reception kept going
everyone was always happy to help, from the time we arrived .and the food excellent. also good location
Location was good, easy access to Bournemouth promenade and town but far enough to be away from revellers
Tiny single beds, well worn with lumpy springs. Quality was poor, traditional seaside hotel stuck somewhere in the 1970's. Lino floored bathroom, cheap decor, grotty swimming pool and awful changing rooms. Generally, a real budget hotel which is not up to the standard expected bit over priced.
