Located on the seafront, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, this modern and uniquely styled hotel has a 1930s Art Deco style, a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a day spa, and a lido deck.
Score from 1033 reviews Very good
In a quiet part of East Cliff, this clean, friendly hotel is just a short stroll from Bournemouth's beaches and town centre. It has spacious rooms, a restaurant, a vibrant bar and free parking.
Score from 1388 reviews Very good
Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel was the first hotel in Bournemouth. It offers 3 hotel restaurants, a health spa and lovely sea views.
Score from 1949 reviews Good
Just a few hundred metres from Bournemouth's sandy beaches, The Queens Hotel has spacious, traditional rooms. There is a relaxing pool and spa, a gym and an award-winning restaurant.
Score from 982 reviews Good
You very kindly gave us a sea view room, which was very nice.
No complaints have visited often and always very comfortable. Food very good
We were given a free upgrade to penthouse, the room was great with views over the bay from the splendid balcony. Sunday carvery was exceptional, the lamb was superb. Breakfast was buffet style with more choice of food than was decently possible to eat. Staff were 1st class and we felt like we were special guests.
what's not to like?
Food and service excellent.
the food,entertainment and staff
Location. Friendly staff
Location is awesome and the hotel staff are extremely courteous. Hotel staff were caring for my pregnant wife and also allocated a better accessible room to make things comfortable for her.
Only problem is parking space is awkward and not well managed. But it is not a deal breaker
Very clean lovely breakfast and friendly staff.
The bed this was very bad
Good-sized room, nice wallpaper, Excellent location and admit the atmosphere for the carvery looked appealling, though we did not indulge.
Freezing cold because of a tiny, non-changeable radiator in the room and thin duvet, no blanket. Oh yes, we had just had a swim and there was a power cut, okay not the hotel's fault, but covered in chlorine, we and other guests were left to climb stairs in the pitch black, trying to find our way out of the leisure area, no staff came to check on us or help. I tried to complain to reception and was greeted with an extremely aggressive receptionist, no concern or empathy shown - customer service is the key here, it was not good. We left remembering the unfriendliness of the staff, rather than the quality of the hotel. Also, reduce your prices for breakfast, very expensive!. Ps - and ladies, be wary of the hairdryer - turned mine on and think I set a world record for the loudest one, it sounded like a commercial flight was landing in the room!.
Great location.great room.good breakfast
Hotel was in full Christmas party mode when we visited but this didn't detract from our stay or welcome.
Parking was very full. Hotel was uncomfortably over-heated - too hot even for some of the more senior guests; better than being too cold of course.
Booked late via Google search for cheap hotels in Bournemouth and ended up with this fab place with a four poster bed for under 25 quid
Location staff very helpful
Leisure facilities very poor and old. Sauna did not work, had to collect a towel from the reception to then trapse downstairs to the pool. No Jaccuzzi or steam room.
I found a three day deal on the Internet including breakfast. The breakfast was very good, the room was fine (I got an upgrade) and the staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend it especially as it is located right on the cliffs overlooking the sea and only a ten minutes stroll into town.
Room was a bit dated but that didn't worry me.
I like that all staff spoke to us.
the seaview room with terrace and very close to town
no fridge or mini bar and the walls are very thin, you have to literally whisper or you have old miserable guests in the next room complaining
Location and view
size of the room, customer service, hotel needs a refurbishment and sauna didn't work.
Location, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts.
Constant Christmas parties so very noisy and residents were obliged to sit in a dingy back lounge and eat there as no other facilities available. When people make reservations they should be advised that its busy with parties at that time.
Staff and food were excellent.
No bath only a shower with very low pressure at it's best and no water or pressure if other rooms were running a bath or shower, not good for a superior room (Harry). Balcony door stained inside double glassing panels obstructing vision. Only one small lift and lots of narrow stairs
The staff was helpful and the children loved the pool
Really friendly staff, upgraded our room for free for no reason, everything was really good quality and there was loads of facilities with use of the hotels either side included too.
Only complaint was the the double bed was two singles pushed together which leaves a big hard bit down the middle where they meet
There was nowhere quiet to have an evening snack. The bars were full of noisy parties. The room was extremely small. The TV had been unplugged and I only found the plug after standing on a chair to look behind the TV. I asked for assistance with the TV but nobody was available to help. The room was too hot even with the window open as far as it would go, and I could not tutn the radiator off.
Great sea view Relaxed Atmosphere
Surcharges for breakfast
The staff were very friendly and more than helpful, location was perfect for the purpose of our visit, accommodation was very good with an exellent breakfast. Would recommend and use again.
