the staff were very helpful in the main hotel, the best we have ever had(we have stayed in many hotels),complements to them, the food and service were excellent and the health centre was good. i wish we had stayed in the main hotel as the lodge is in need of refurbishment, although it was adequate.we will bring the whole family down in the future, but to stay in the main hotel. |

leisure complex part of hotel passable, situation of hotel good Breakfast was mad ,a queue for toast ,a queue for the hot plate, time we sat down everything was cold, and if you wanted brown toast the fire alarm went off, We knew we was staying in 'The Lodge' but that did not prepare us for a very outdated stuffy and very hot bedroom, which when it rained sounded like we were in a caravan |

We enjoyed use of the spa facilities and the location was just right for the purpose of our visit. The double bed was a little on the small size and the television could have been placed a bit higher so that it could e viewed from the bed. |

Staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfast we really tasty and the location for us was super . We booked into the lodge as opposed to the hotel by mistake, hadn’t realised this until the night before we arrived. We tried to upgrade but the hotel was full. The lodge I would say was good low budget accommodation, the room was clean but in need of updating and the bathroom had seen better days but equally clean. Unfortunately we had a Perspex slanting roof which I can only presume has been added to the room to extend it which gave room for the dressing table & wardrobes. While it was good to have the additional room the weather was very unforgiving and the noise of heavy rain on the Perspex kept us awake most of the night. |

The noise on the roof from the rain in teh extension part of the room was very bad and led to a poor nights sleep.I felt quite isolated at the end of the corridor with no other guests the night I arrived apparently in the annex.Otherwise no complaints |

The room was a good size and the pool and gym facilities were a welcome extra. The rooms seem a bit dated with a 70's style interior furnishing and an old tubular 21" TV. |

10 minute walk to town. Good breakfast selection. Parking. Friendly and very helpful staff both at reception and at breakfast. Room I stayed in was large and clean but the shower room was dated and tiny. The room also had some plastic roofing (like a conservatory) and in the winds and rain it was very noisy. TV channels available (4 of them) were very poor quality with a tiny aerial on the TV. |
