Close to BIC. Good leisure suite.
Room like an oven, difficult to sleep. Food
The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The spa was great. Would go back again
The bed was to soft. Not very good if you have a bad back. If felt like you were sinking in it
Good location. Excellent Restaurant and Staff.
The Lodge entrance and stairway needed redecorating to be of the same standard as the bedroom which was very good.
We didntvknow untill arrival we were not staying in main hotel- -and was very disappointed! But the lodge was very nice- just a shamevwe had to walk outside in rain to go to spa and breakfast. As we didnt know this. But overall it was very nice
Goin outside to eat and drink to main hotel.
Majority of staff were very friendly.
A member of staff in breakfast room looked down his nose at us & made us feel very unwelcome, which was a shame as rest of staff were very friendly & polite
Staff were all efficient and friendly. Room was lovely and clean also very comfortable. Breakfast was probably one of the tastiest we've ever had. Good gym tidy sauna steam and hot tub with pool. Restaurant was a bit pricey although the food was very good. Definitely want to try and visit again.
Nothing to dislike whatsoever.
I have stayed always in the hotel but could not get in so booked the lodge. Staff fantastic and moved me to another room as the bed in 235 needed a new mattress and was so uncomfortable in the first night. I was given much bigger room, which had been recent refurbished. Blakes restaurant was outstanding as normal.
The bed in 235, it had no support and springs could be felt. Bathroom was very small in this room too.
Leaving Bournemouth the next morning - have never understood the attraction of a resort with zero good restaurants and pubs...
Having to prepay my room on check in - why? The towel's were left on the bed because there - literally - was no room for them in the joke that they called a bathroom.
Location, staff, facilities, comfort and breakfast, all first class. Stayed here several times, would definitely recommend. Can't wait for next visit :-)
Having to leave :-(
Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed using the swimming pool and facilities, changing rooms very clean.
Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast.
Very difficult parking due to obstructing van from ground floor tenant.
Comfortable, clean and a good location for the seafront and town centre.
Breakfast being served; prefer to self serve, buffet style.
Good location. Staff very polite and attentive .
Didn't cater for gluten free guests in restaurant menu selection was very limited.
Warm welcome. Good food Excellent location for all that Bournemouth has to offer.
Location and friendly, helpful pleasant staff. Great breakfast.
Having to go out of the building into the inclement weather to go to breakfast in main hotel!
Being woken up by drilling at 8:30am. Room next door being refurbished! No warning
Staff, beds, facilities, swimming pool, location, food, especially breakfast! I have been coming here for several years to take my children to the BIC. Great place to stay. So friendly and the spa is just perfect for a few hours swimming and relaxing.
Being duped and conned by the images of the rooms depicted on the website. The rooms shown are not typical of the substandard rooms offered in the 'Lodge' which is an annex of the main hotel. Paid for 4 star accomadation and got a 2 Star bedroom. Had to upgrade at an extra cost.
Food, receptionists friendly and helpful
No way through from lodge to hotel expecially when raining!!. Asked for a double bed got to beds pushed together so had a gapping gap in the middle. Arrived @2:50 and was told we had to wait 10 mins till the room was ready! Surely they were not still sorting the room 10 mins before??! Pool was full of sand, there filters were not set correctly so pool is cloudy and dirty.
Excellent choices for breakfast and staff were very pleasant. Loved the pool too!
I was disappointed to be put in the Lodge especially when the room was booked in January. The bedroom was very dark; lighter coloured furniture or better lighting needed
The side of the bath hanging off! The noise levels of people outside the hotel! The price of £108 a night in my opinion is absolutely ridiculous and unjustified!!! I've stayed in better bed n breakfasts in Blackpool at a third of the price!! Certainly will never book this supposed hotel again!!!
We where both very happy with are stay here. We had a lovely meal in the bar area in the evening . Nice breakfast too.
Staff here are truly wonderful! Nothing too much trouble and service with a smile.
Car park is on the small side
This hotel/lodge is a 5min walk to the pier & town centre, we travelled down to Bournemouth to see John Bishop as the BIC which was very close by. You have a few restaurants & a local shop at the end of the road. Parking isnt a problem but would recommend to get there early afternoon to avoid disappointment. We stayed in a twin room (201) which was a good size, beds were comfy & good size bathroom (minus the bath) with a large shower. Breakfast was included, continental, selections of fruits & good old english fry up! Didnt get chance to try out the lesuire club which was a shame! The resturant & lesuire club is in the hotel which you have access to!
The stairs up to the rooms in the lodge were very noisy you could hear people coming up or down them, proberly because there old & worn. The window ledges in the room could do with a refurb & a good clean as could the roof & walls in the entrance hall, full of cobwebs & dead insects.
the staff were pleasant and professional. The location of the hotel close to the beach was good and the swimming pool was big and quiet. The evening meal at the bistro was reasonable and there was a comfortable lounge
The room was adequate but not large. The cost of the hotel did not include breakfast. This was our mistake but at over £12.50 each it was overpriced compared to similar hotels. The car park was full and we parked on the street opposite
