Location and staff. Good breakfast.
Poor selection for evening meal. Rommel a little dated. Slow wifi
totally quiet location in the middle of a golf course, helpful staff, beautiful old manor house, nice quiet terrace to drink and eat
rooms need an upgrade: my clothes cabinet door was hanging by one hinge, the door lock hardly turned, it's better for people with cars: I had to walk a mile out through the golf course to get to town each way (but a beautiful walk in nice weather)
Reception staff were disinterested at arrival and when leaving; Was not asked how my stay was only how I would like to settle the bill. Room was not cleaned well. found someone's underwear still in the drawers, bathroom bin was not emptied and the room furnishings were cheap and nasty.
Great breakfast: fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries; water melon; 'full English' was very fresh and tasty; cafetiere of coffee; croissants and/or small Danish pastry. Much enjoyed!
friendliness of staff. Lovely grounds
Hotel looked a bit tired
Very impressive building in an ideal location for Bromley
Looking a bit tired
Staff were helpful. Bed was comfortable and clean.
Was a bit disappointed in the hotel to be honest. Probably fair to say that the room was adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful, but felt that the hotel was a bit sorry for itself overall and was in need of a makeover.
general helpfulness of staff and pleasant surroundings
bath water did not look the cleanest
Historic building, location was good,
Only one set of towels between two!! Damp room. Very poor ventilation in bathroom. Generally needs upgrading.
friendly greeting staff and breakfast waitress. grounds amazing.
rude evening reception staff
Location and setting
Bed was not long enough if over 6 foot tall
lovely staircase, high ceilings and surroundings.
staff gave impression they didnt really want to be there
The location was fabulous. A historic building located at the end of a private drive.
A little bit difficult to locate the actual lane leading to the hotel.
Location ,Breakfast ,peaceful
Couldn't open window, very hot weather, only fan room made for uncomfortable nights.
Good value for money. Nice atmosphere, quit location.
Refurbishment of rooms is needed. I had to move a lot in the shower to at least get a little wet, as the flow was very poor.
unable to link ipad with wireless
Free Wi Fi The old-fashioned rambling building
Slowest Wi Fi in the world Not mentioning its a mile from Plaistow lane through a golf course
Beautiful grounds, lovely building architecturally. Friendly staff, food ok.
Room 11 very small. Building and facilities very tired. I was there in a heat wave so the room was a struggle in terms of ventilation, but staff provided a fan.
Excellent setting for a Hotel, Nice Comfortable room, excellent breakfast
One really good thing that endeared me to the place is it's secluded location that gave the impression that I was in a countryside. Once you are there, it does not look like you were in London.
Locating the place at night could be daunting. You will rightly find yourself at the junction but you will never believe that the narrow country lane like road leads to anywhere near where you. We're going. You need an improvement in signposting and directing people to your place
Relaxed atmoshere and surroundings
It just happened that the map I used showed me the hotel as on the main road, but the reality is that it's a long walk through the park. It's a lovely walk, but needs to be factored into your plans if on foot
There are so many things to love about sundridge park manor. It is 240 years old so you would expect a fusty corner smelling of something like puppy dog here and there amongst the labrynth of corridors and stairs just asking to be explored. ( not sure if thats really allowed though) The freshest raspberries and blueberries and croissants for breakfast. Some staff went above and beyond to help The lovely garden setting complete with cute squirrels bunnies and foxes just has to be complimented. Walking along the narrow scenic driveway, instantly refreshed me from the bustle and noise of London and a long flight and bus ride. Gorgeous building Comfy beds Good size bathroom and lovely deep bath and good pressure hot water Huge windows in our twin room The thickness of the walls meant for a quiet night's sleep even with a party going on downstairs Easily accessible to London by train from sundridge park station or grove park station is only a fiver away in a taxi and that takes you straight to London bridge station.
One staff member wasn't so helpful when we asked about laundry our twin room must have been the only room in the whole place without a nice view Lack of hanging space in bathroom
Beautiful surroundings the grounds are stunning. Great staff...they were exceptionally helpful.
Little bit of noise as the neighbouring room had left their light on and the extractor fan noise was a nuisance. Resolved as I was given an alternative room.
Very old worn out room broken bed when complained told hotel was in the middle of updating
