Set in 15 acres of stunning gardens in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, is this elegant country house hotel.
Score from 329 reviews Very good
Styled like a French chateau, this historical manor is 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse. It has a relaxing spa with swimming pool and gym, and boasts an AA Rosette-rated restaurant.
Score from 170 reviews Good
With 2 stylish bars, leisure facilities and elegant bedrooms, Coppid Beech is 2 miles from Bracknell centre. Just off the M4 motorway, the hotel has free Wi-Fi and free parking.
Score from 757 reviews Very good
Dating back to the second half of the 18th century, this charming hotel is set on the edge of Great Windsor Park, very close to Virginia Water Lake.
Score from 223 reviews Good
Really good conference facilities especially having lots of tea and coffee on tap.
Bed was way too hard for my liking but the rooms were clean and pretty standard (bit pricey for what you get).
no biscuit in room
Good shower & wash facilities.
TV was a decade old built in a wood cabinet. Bed was not comfortable. Will not stay again.
Price was very competitive for the area. Lovely setting
Difficult to find room at night. No late bar. Room was functional rather than luxurious. Room also felt very cramped.
Musty smell in room and general areas
A bit like staying in Army Barracks. Restaurant too far away from accommodation. All the rooms in blocks a bit like a council estate. Not that impressed considering the area it's in.
Polite Staff and the Vicente of the hotel made it very quite
Rooms very small and thin walls
limited restaurant choice
The breakfast was good quality, and was served in an area that would support large groups of delegates gathering together in the morning.
The room was very basic and seemed mid-renovation (screw holes in the wall where things had been removed but not covered). For what it was, a little over-priced.
Friendly staff. Location Breakfast was good.
Building needs an upgrade. Definetly lacked TLC. Worn out and out of date facilities. Handle falling off room door. No biscuits on offer. No mirror in room. Poor lighting. No flat screen T.V. The stair case to the Bar had water marks on walls. Felt dark and unloved entering this area. Plus, nobody in the Bar at 8.30pm Friday night! Solo travellers are segregated in the main eating area to a seperate room.
Comfortable room and restaurant was not off-putting for a single (female) business traveller. The restaurant catered well for business travellers, perhapsd because a significant number of residents were business travellers or conference facility users. Availability of parking on site an advantage. Will look out for special offers again! The half term week deal was good valuewith B&B for less than £50.
The huge clock in the bathroon had not been adjusted for the recent "daylight saving"time change!
Mattress springs knackered, paper thin walls ment the noisy Essex chavs next door kept waking us up, no bar food, only a small buffet of very bland food in the resturaunt.
Staff absolutly wonderful
Gap in windows that allowed very cold air into room. Shower sprayed around screen allowing large puddle on bathroom floor which looking at state of door had been happening for a long time. Food was warm not hot
Situation very good for the locality
Beautiful location in sunning dale park
I have stayed in a number of de vere hotels before and was very disappointed with the quality of this one at sunning dale park. The reception and many of the buildings have the feel of student halls and have clearly not been refurbished for many years. Despite torrential rain in the morning, no offer of a buggy ride across the park to get to breakfast was made.
comfy bed adequate amenities -toiletries, coffee opening window
noisy residents a bit austere - halls of residence springs to mind
Love the bed and shower
The cabins are external to the main reception and you get wet everytine you go to breakfast if its raining. Noise from other guests can be heard throught the very thin walls.
Great grounds. Excellent conference facilities. Fabulous food.
Thinness of bedroom walls and very loud plumbing
- Location for what we needed was excellent - Easy to find - Staff nice
- Very thin walls - Hard bed - Basic rooms but they were fine for our needs - It was a bit like being back at university, i wouldn't really call this a "hotel"
was ideal for ascot racecourse. well serviced by excellent taxi firm
Bar didn't open till 5pm. should be open for residents at all times
Close to Ascot racecourse.
Very spread out.
Nice size rooms and comfy beds with big TVs
Signage to rooms really poor both outside and in. Carpet hadn't been hoovered. Feels like an old training centre not an hotel. The reception desk screams out 1980!
the reception staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and attentative, my room catered for all my needs
my room had a view of all the rubbish skips that were overflowing, also the dirty laundry skips. I think the hotel could manage these better, perhaps a wooden screen around them?
We have stayed here multiple times now during visits to Ascot Champions Day. Bedrooms are well equipped and tastefully furnished. Only one minor comment which could be easily fixed. In our room (112) there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom. No plug points in close promximity to mirror and so this posed a challenge whilst getting ready i.e hair n makeup. Breakfast - plenty variety and freshly cooked. Lighting in bar during the evening could be dimmed. We were sitting beneath four very harsh spotlights which was not befitting of the ambiance of a bar in evening.
