Welcoming staff, great shower!
Check out time varied from 9am on in room info, 10am on key card & 11am on confirmation email. Consequently housekeeper knocked on the door twice between 0830-0900 - not happy morning after a wedding.
Staff we apolgetic the next day but the same day they were most unhelpful
Cleanliness , room smelt of smoke , bed unclean
Nice bathroom but no bath which was disappointing.
Room was in separate building and so was restaurant - really inconvenient. No menu at all for restaurant. Wifi didn't work.
Friendliness of the reception staff & speed of response.
Friendliness of reception staff .. Also we took bags from the car the told it was a drive to room
Everything. Could not fault anything.
Everything was fantastic!! Couldn't fault it at all, perfect for ascot an valentines day!
drink at the bar were slightly pricey.
clean tidy friendly great walking views close to town staff could not do more for you in reception and resturant made you feel welcome.
had to walk outside to resturant and bar so in bad weather not good, food in resturant was a limited choice and was served cold but when mentioned they didnt charge us and offered us free breakfast to make up, bar menu was then offered. when walking round it is like an old army camp barracks, spent 2 nights first night guttering outside window gave a waterfall all night and we was also put next door to the cleaning room so early morning call given even if not wanted
Comfort of bed, good breakfast
Cold lighting in room and lack of lighting in bathroom
Lovely room, tasty breakfast. Was this an executive double though? Was right on the edge of the complex.
Restaurant and staff were very good
Small, uncomfortable bed - I'm 5"8 and my feet were sticking over the end! Room was very noisy (from a boiler or something rather than any traffic) and rooms are on a complex which meant walking outside to get to breakfast/restaurant.
Really good conference facilities especially having lots of tea and coffee on tap.
Bed was way too hard for my liking but the rooms were clean and pretty standard (bit pricey for what you get).
no biscuit in room
Good shower & wash facilities.
TV was a decade old built in a wood cabinet. Bed was not comfortable. Will not stay again.
Price was very competitive for the area. Lovely setting
Difficult to find room at night. No late bar. Room was functional rather than luxurious. Room also felt very cramped.
Musty smell in room and general areas
A bit like staying in Army Barracks. Restaurant too far away from accommodation. All the rooms in blocks a bit like a council estate. Not that impressed considering the area it's in.
Polite Staff and the Vicente of the hotel made it very quite
Rooms very small and thin walls
limited restaurant choice
The breakfast was good quality, and was served in an area that would support large groups of delegates gathering together in the morning.
The room was very basic and seemed mid-renovation (screw holes in the wall where things had been removed but not covered). For what it was, a little over-priced.
Friendly staff. Location Breakfast was good.
Building needs an upgrade. Definetly lacked TLC. Worn out and out of date facilities. Handle falling off room door. No biscuits on offer. No mirror in room. Poor lighting. No flat screen T.V. The stair case to the Bar had water marks on walls. Felt dark and unloved entering this area. Plus, nobody in the Bar at 8.30pm Friday night! Solo travellers are segregated in the main eating area to a seperate room.
Comfortable room and restaurant was not off-putting for a single (female) business traveller. The restaurant catered well for business travellers, perhapsd because a significant number of residents were business travellers or conference facility users. Availability of parking on site an advantage. Will look out for special offers again! The half term week deal was good valuewith B&B for less than £50.
The huge clock in the bathroon had not been adjusted for the recent "daylight saving"time change!
Mattress springs knackered, paper thin walls ment the noisy Essex chavs next door kept waking us up, no bar food, only a small buffet of very bland food in the resturaunt.
Staff absolutly wonderful
Gap in windows that allowed very cold air into room. Shower sprayed around screen allowing large puddle on bathroom floor which looking at state of door had been happening for a long time. Food was warm not hot
Situation very good for the locality
