Comfortable, clean room with a delicious full English Breakfast. Helpful staff gave us ideas about what to see, transportation, and dining.
Very welcoming, and good comfortable bed and a first class breakfast.
I much prefer a power shower rather than just an ordinary electric shower over the bath.
Curteous and kindness. Very secure and safe from intruders. Made my friend and I very much at home and although we are not "A couple": we got a kick out of what appeared to be a "Honeymoon Suite". It was cute. :)
I can't think of anything I did not like about Sunny Mount B & B.
Fridge a little noisy in room.
The host went above and beyond to help us out, would definitely stay here again!
Comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing.
We enjoyed the King sized bed which was very comfortable. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent in both presentation and taste
The only drawback with the bedroom was the lack of a door to the bathroom. It was just a curtain
Clean, well decorated, fantastic breakfast
Great location and the breakfast was amazing.
The bed was slightly uncomfortable
Very welcoming host after a long day travelling. Excellent facilities and an exceptional breakfast which was well presented. Excellent value for money.
No yoghurt or fresh fruit for breakfast. Thought vegetarian option was a waste as it was just a snapshot of main breakfast. Replace vegetarian with Greek yoga, honey and fresh fruit. Perfect.....
a fantastic Englihs breakfast presented in a brilliant way
The room was really funky and added extra luxury to our stay. Breakfast was fantastic
It was quite a way out of the town but we did know this when booking
The owner was very accommodating, she even gave us a lift into town for a small fee, it saved us waiting for a taxi or bus, although there was a bus stop over the road. The room we had was very spacious the bed was kingsize and very comfy the decor of the whole visitors area was very nice and the cooked breakfast was the best I've had in a b@b
There's nothing to dislike
Breakfast was excellent
we booked king room but bit was double booked, we were put in a tiny so called double room with a very small shower room it was very shabby and should not have had a double bed in it was far too small.carpet was thilthy and so was shower. will not be staying again.
Everything. Cleanliness, decor, hostess very friendly, bed was amazingly comfortable (kind with £2,000 tempura mattress) only the best of everything here. Breakfast was the best I've encountered for a cooked. Superbly presented and cooked. Owner is a trained chef, it shows. Home made jam and marmalade, huge pot of coffee. Tables beautifully laid, with silver crystal gemmed napkin holder, unusual shaped stylish large cups. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. I will most definitley be back.
If I had to pick something, it would be parking. Just hill parking on pavement. Space allocated for guest use, was difficult to access and park in. Noise from road in room at front was noticeable, but not unduly disturbing. Only other negative was being unable to contact owner easily. No answerphone and no reply a few times when trying to update travel arrival plans.
The breakfast was very good, the hostess was very friendly. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bedroom had a curtain separating the bathroom but it didn't cause any problems I think it added to the quirkiness of the place. It was located outside Nottingham but there were busses that run every 5 minutes into Nottingham City centre just a short walk up the road.
Super helpful and polite staff, utterly fantastic breakfast (the tea and the juice in particular were delicious!). We had the 'King' suite and then another smaller one for my brother - both with great decor and comfortable furnishings. So useful to have wifi in the room too :)
My brother was bitten as he slept! May have been something from the window, but was in the very concentrated place on his body and he felt it may have been something from the bed. The location is fine if you have a car, otherwise it's much too far to walk to the city centre.
The host was v friendly. The room was comfortable & the breakfast was excellent.
The rooms and food
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good in a relaxed atmosphere. The room was very modern, not many places have a fridge in the room this one did which was very useful as we were traveling with a small child. Overall it was a very nice place to stay at a very reasonable price.
The whole house was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was spotless. We had a very nice breakfast, pre-ordered, and were surprised to find evening meals are available, too. Jennie, our hostess, was cheerful and friendly.
Our mattress was a little too firm for me, though my husband thought it was fine. The staircarpet could do with renewing, as I caught my foot in a couple of places.
Friendly and accommodating staff.
breakfast was excellent and owner extremely helpful.
squeaky door to en-suite.
