Hosts very welcoming and the service received very good chose the 6ft bed beliving it to be a large room, but really the bed was too big for the room and space very limited. The bed was also very soft. |

The Guest House was clean, welcoming, rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very good with plenty of selection. No chairs in the room in which to sit and relax. I think it is a little over priced by say £10 to £15 for the room I had. (King size double suite). Ta toilet brush could be provided. |

Too small a bathroom. Bed too big for room. No staff in attendance when we came in at 9pm to supply more milk to room. Very expensive for a b&b and as it was situated on a busy main road we had to have windows shut so we could sleep which made room unbearably hot |

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the proprietor was helpful and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice of foods. There was plenty of parking available. The room was smaller than expected with only one small low chair. The bed was also very low. The shower was only just adequate in terms of flow and temperature. |

Very friendly and nice owners. Very clean and very well-groomed. We felt very welcome and well hosted. Our room was quite small in relation to the price. |

The proprietors (James and Sally) went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and gave us good sightseeing suggestions / help. The accommodation was modern and clean, and the food very good. |

Very pleasant atmosphere. Lovely breakfast, well cooked and served with a smile. Beautiful and very comfortable bed in our room, better than the expensive hotel we stayed in at St. Mawes! |

The guest house was near enough to walk to available restaurants.A good place to stay if visiting the Eden Project. The guest house provided a good breakfast. The toilet in our room didn't flush adequately. The manager was told. For the accommodation and breakfast we thought it on the expensive side. |

Very clean room and friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast The room was very small. For the price I would have expected a larger room. There was no wardrobe space either only a couple of hanging hooks in the small hall at the entrance to the bathroom. |

We had a nice welcome on arrival and were given lots of information about the local area. The room was comfortable, clean and well supplied with little extras such as speciality teas. This is not a dislike but a few extra toiletries wouldn't go amiss - a soap for the basin and the shower for example. |

The couple who ran the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We were given a free upgrade and our room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Good breakfast with local farm produce and fresh fruit daily. There wasn't much to do in St Austell, although the hotel made a good base for seeing the sights of Cornwall and was ideal for visiting the nearby Eden Project. |

I thought the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The facilities are excellent as is the location. James (the owner) has recently taken over this hotel and deserves to do well. |

Located along a private road, a short distance from the A38, the Cliff Head hotel is close to gorgeous sandy beaches and coves. |
This delightful inn offers en suite accommodation, all recently refurbished to a high standard, some with sea views. |
