Proprietors, breakfast, location, 'tower' room layout.
Bed a bit too soft, rattling doors, weak WiFi signal
the host carried bags to the bedroom for me, as an older single traveller this was helpful- breakfast excellent - host even went out of his way to buy in veggie bread for my toast- he did not know that not all breast was not suitable for veggies
room windows open -bit cold overnight but too high for me to close-
2nd visit and just as impressed the second time as the first. Quite enough for a good nights sleep, and very convenient for parking and a short walk into the town.
It was the break we hoped for. We had our dog with us and this can make things difficult but he was welcomed as we were. Everything was made easy for us including advice on walks with the dog and best places to eat. All in all a relaxed and pleasant break with no pressures, we were sad to leave.
Friendly family running the place. Immaculately clean, made very welcome nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever stay in Ross again I will use Sunny Mount
pleasant twin room; very nice hosts
Pleasant went out of way to obtain soy milk for breakfast. Staff conversational. Helpful with directions and luggage.
Everything Just perfect.
Comfortable bed - Delicious home-cooked breakfast and good range of choices including fresh fruit and decaf tea - Location, walking distance to High St - Easy to find from M-way (5 mins from M50) - Own key for both front and room doors so no restrictions on what time you needed to be back at night - Room felt safe and secure - Lovely garden to sit in on a sunny afternoon - Off-street parking - Excellent WiFi
Very old-fashioned decor (Alex Polizzi "The Hotel Inspector" would have a fit at the unnecessary, chintzy footstool and dusty plastic fruit/flowers in bedroom and teddy bear in little wooden chair on the landing!) - Very small shower, couldn't raise arms to wash hair properly unless standing 'diagonally' across shower cubicle - Hot water (bathroom sink) very low pressure; flowed weakly - Large spider in the top corner of room lived there throughout my 2-night stay (dusting needed??)
The staff were very friendly and the room comfortable. Breakfast was great and the owners very friendly.
The accommodation was great but Ross on Wye should be renamed 'Chav on Wye'. Town was rubbish, but nice places near by.
Great location and nice facilities (very clean) Lovely friendly owner who gives you great tips and makes a great breakfast!
Nothing really...if I was going to be very very picky I'd say the shower could have been more powerful, but perfect other than that!
The way the Proprietors put themselves out to accommodate my arrival/departure times and helped so kindly when I left a coat somewhere during my visit. Excellent! Oh, and the breakfasts .. .
Nothing much; room could have been a bit bigger maybe, TV a bit lower down - just trifles.
Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent, we will go there again.
Breakfast was great, secure cycle storage, lovely couple running it.
Bit of road noise through the open window on a hot night
The friendly attitude of the owners.
I've been a regular visitor to Sunnymount for several years and always enjoy my stays very much indeed. Rob and Denise are excellent and thoughtful hosts, the food is delicious and freshly cooked to order, the rooms are stylishly decorated. Would recommend to anyone.

Quiet, friendly and convenient for town centre. Lovely breakfast. We would certainly stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble, breakfast was brilliant , our room was very good too very quiet location in a cul de sac, would stay there again.
Can't say we didn't like anything, bathroom small perhaps but can't be helped in the room we had. otherwise very good.
Room 1 - spacious, comfortable, lovely outlook. Breakfasts were excellent - good food well cooked with plenty of choice. Quiet location within easy walking distance of town. Good parking.
No complaints but for a big fellow the shower was adequate though a little on the cosy side.
