Very helpful host The breakfast was lovely hot on hot plates all freshly cooked very nice and offered more of everything
Bed was not the most comfortable and the sheets were well used
Friendly family atmosphere with really nice Scottish breakfast
Single room a bit small but I could stay in the living room to have more space
Food was first rate as was the service. We'll be back.
On arrival we were greeted with a happy smiling welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was delicious. This is a very homely B&B. It has character and you are made to feel welcome at all times. We almost felt like an extension of the family. We will definately use it again.
Friendly staff; good breakfast; outside seating area
Excellent hosts, great breakfast & clean accommodation
The mattresses desperately need updating, we could feel coils through ours which was disappointing as otherwise a good stay.
Arrival time is 7pm latest. Whilst I realise the family nature of the guest house, it is out of the city in a normal residential area. Most GH's check in till
Very friendly staff.
Frank and Lorraine were excellent hosts, and very knowledgeable about the area. Nothing was too much trouble and all the facilities were shown and explained upon arrival. I good location for Cyclists doing Land`s End to John O Groats like myself or just cycling in the area. 6 out of 5 stars from me.
Staff - very welcoming Car park Dogs welcome
Bed, very uncomfortable En-suite was a cupboard Room very old fashioned TV signal very intermittent
very friendly people. Small but cosy family room with loads of extras in it for younger kids. Fab breakfast and loads of tea/coffee etc in the room.
Everything a lovely place to stay for a night or longer stay
Warm and welcoming Very good Breakfast with plenty of choice
Value for money Local facilities
People friendly. Place very clean.
The beds were both horribly lumpy and difficult to sleep on.
The fact that there was everything you needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The garden area was pretty and inviting.
The new housing estate opposite spoilt what would have been a tranquil setting otherwise. Electric sockets were difficult to get to and polite requests in room that there would be surcharges made for any soiled bedding or towels
Good friendly service with tremendous knowledge of the locality
I liked the personal surroundi ng. It's a family house
Nothing. We had a short but pleasant stay
The owners are a lovely couple, very helpful! The breakfast was delicious.

Bit dated, and not the best area.
Comfortable beds Great, full, tasting breakfast Warm Private parking Staff willing to please and efficient Lots of character
Low water pressure at times
