good clean apartment parking easy good wifi very good assistance
arrived at wrong address due to sat nav sending me to wrong address (got right info from the man)
relative proximity of the town of Greenwich, the O2 Arena, North Greenwich metro and rapid ferry, although with the bus, bike or a longer walk kitchen had plenty of ways to cook helpful manager, as far as was possible for him
the apartment's windows were jammed open without the key available to unblock them cheapish sanitary, the shower door was broke limited plates and cutlery in the kitchen old coach, not very clean
Access to transportation good. Facilities are fairly new.
Checking in process not ideal if you don't drive. Bedding could be improved.
We liked the location as it's a short walk to the O2 and public transport. We liked the free parking and the view over the Thames.
We did not like lack of contact with the agent. I emailed to ask for more information and was ignored. Phone line went straight to voice mail and this worried me. I had to contact booking.com for help...then I was able to ask the questions I wanted answers to such as early access and late leaving. When we picked up the key I hadn't realised that the apartment was in a new development about 5 minutes away from the office. The map we were given was inadequate and the postcode was wrong, so I used the address on the parking stickers that we were given. There was no welcome pack/information so I had to ring the office to find out how to access wi-fi. There was a broken window which we had to ring up about to get fixed...which it was, but after one warm stuffy night with poor sleep. Flat decor was non-existent. We have been to lots of apartments on our travels and this has to be the most minimal in terms of decor. Thankfully we weren't in the flat for long because it is also on the edge of a building site and had we been there during the day we would not have been able to open the balcony door due to noise from construction work on the site.
No bath mat Not enough cutlery Only one wok no frying pan Water cut without notice and owner saying He cannot do anything No information given in the flat for the wifi connection
Close to 02, great views of London very practical good sized apartment.
Although it looked clean close up it was not. Everything looked like it was cleaned with a cold cloth. Beds soft and bedding boobly, dish washer stunk. Freezer was full of ice but not cubes. There were dirty mops everywhere. It just needs a good cleaner to go though it so I would book it again on the condition they assured me they would clean it properly top to bottem .
View, balcony and location
Hob didn't work very well and we couldn't cook easily as a result
The photos of the property; the comfort of the beds; the kitchen area; stylish property with good outside space.
Soulless, microwave broken, freezer door wouldn't close due to excess ice, communal areas not secure.
Loved the views and space in the apartment. Locality good. Very helpful staff.
Could do with a toaster in kitchen but lovely anyway
Great apartment on the inside. Amazing view of London's skyline from the balcony.
Front door of the building boarded up. Inside the front door the wall was smashed up. Bin cupboard smashed in.
Top floor Light and airy Spacious
Two double beds No sofa bed Made sleeping three unrelated people difficult. Found condoms under sofa cushion? Baby oil bottle in bathroom? Needs a good sort out and clean/decorate, curtains etc Parking space unworkable. Entrance door to block open all the time.
Good location and the apartment facing the river. Living area is spacious.
The apartment needs some basis maintenance such as few lamps not working, master bedroom window cannot be opened and carpet need cleaning.
Location and low price was fantastic
Lacked mirrors in bedrooms and very basic utensils in the kitchen
Spacious clean modern apartment. Perfect for the O2.
The guy's English wasn't too good which was tricky when I spoke to him on the phone but fine in person. Lovely person though and gave us the info we needed.
it was cheap for 2 sharing and excellent for access to the O2 arena.
Poor facilities, no iron and ironing board, the flat was spartan with minimal expense paid on comfort.
i liked the layout and the balcony and view was amazing. :)
Very conviennient for O2 - within walking distance. Nice layout of apartment and roomy. Good to have the balcony.
Nearest tube station was at O2 but Had to collect key via a taxi ride and return carrying bags. The flat did not have hair dryer as stated and kitchen equipment was very basic ... I.e. No tin opener / cheese grater/ tea towels.
Balcony was lovely Kitchen was great, thoughtfully added tea coffee ect. Definitely home from home.
A little more comfortable lounge seating would have been appreciated.
The apartment was great and great value for money
Took 2hrs to find it as was falsly given wrong address and picture of an apartment block which wasnt the one we stayed in.... If i had seen where we did stay i would never have booked it because it was in a very run down area
we liked everything as it was clean and easy. It was the right venue for us as we needed to get to the excel centre and we got the cable cars across each day and so no traffic congestion. The organisation was effecient and easy and real value for money
Excellent location, the apartment itself was beautiful, excellent value for money and the man we picked keys up from was so welcoming and friendly, will definitely be going back :-)
Wifi was really hard to connect to
Not sure about the bedding. Excessively crumpled therefore unsure about being the first to use it. Rest of the apartment was clean.
As these people have 1600 odd apartments, where you are put seems to be a bit of a lottery. The address is given as 145 Trafalgar Road Greenwich, but this is only an office and our apartment was actually in the Greenwich Millennium Village about a mile away at 37 West Parkside. And as has been previously mentioned, the gentleman in the office is hard to understand. However when we eventually got to it, the flat was spacious, clean and in a nice area. Handy for buses to both Central London via North Greenwich underground and destinations all over south London. Local well stocked shop plus Sainsburys two bus stops away. The beds and sitting area were comfortable and there was a good TV. Wifi was effective but not superfast.
The flat equipment was not a disaster but a bit minimalist, *hardly any cooking pans *no bath mat, which could be a bit dangerous if you weren't cautious *no bottle opener *no teaspoons *toaster did not work *no bedside stands *no spare light bulbs for the wall lights and one was out of action. We were slightly perturbed that we didn't know where our flat would be until we had visited the office in Trafalgar Street. More info about the public transport possibilities would be helpful as there is actually a good service but you need to go and investigate it. Upfront info about recycling would be good, there is a recycling bin in the refuse area right next to the flats main entrance, but you have to go hunting for it.
Main door was never locked Bathroom was dirty Wifi didn't work Freezer was unusable Food left in kitchen. Light missing exposing wires Car parking spot needed 40 manoeuvres to get in! Asked for a invoice on checkin took several texts and over 24 hours to get.
Good location and price, nice facilities.
Difficult to find where to pick keys up from and when I got there it was closed, however with a quick phone call this was quickly resolved.
