Very surprised with the accommadation - we stayed in room 1 - excellant value for money - we booked 2 days before our stay - very pleased would certainly use the hotel again. The use of blankets on beds - would prefer a duvet and also a fridge.

Very clean The decor is extremely dated. The breakfast service was not available for our visit. The front desk was not staffed in the morning.

Very scenic area and the hotel has been renovated to a very high standard - the attached restuarant is outstanding. There are also several highly rated eating places in the area, and it is convenient for access to London via Croydon and Wimbledon.

Restaurant was very good, though a little pricey and had no draught lager/ale. Still service and food was good. Front of house Lady in the Hotel was very polite. Very much out in the sticks, so avoid if looking for a lively, rave on bender night out locally by foot.

It was convenient for us to attend a wedding reception at the Inn on the Green at Capel The hotel was in darkness during the day when we arrived and we didn't know where the front reception desk was. The room was quite dusty - thick under the tv. Old fashioned bulky tv without a remote control. There was a soiled hankerchief left in one of the drawers. The plumbing was rather laboured - the water from the basin bubbled up the bath and smelt awful and it took ages for the hot water to come through.

Once we found a member of staff, check in was quick and easy. The room was big and light and comfortable. There was easy access after hours. The room smelt alot of cigarette smoke. The bed was uncomfortable.

Bed was quite comfortable No reception - would describe this as a restaurant with come rooms upstairs which somebody else rents! No bar or lounge to sit in. No sign of any staff when I left at 9.30am. All in all it felt like a part time business.
