the hotel was threadbare and a disco was on in a club downstairs from the hotel till 2 30 in the morning. Our room faced a six xtorey car park that had flood lights on all night. The curtains in the room just fitted the window and was of a cream colour without any blackout lining. the disco was an independant club and was told that i should write a letter of complaint when i said that this was not clearly stated in their advertisement. when i asked for extra sugar and milk at 10 o clock at night i was told that this was available as the domestic staff had the only access to this. |

The location was good. My first room was clearly previously occupied by a cigarette smoker. I had to change rooms. They were fine about it. The hotels definitely needs an update, the carpets and decorations feel left over from the seventies. The sheets were clean though. |

Reception staff were welcoming and friendly, it was very well located. The breakfast was very poor, everything was deep fat fried and the smell pervaded the corridor/stairwell.The staff member in the breakfast room was not hospitable or helpful. |

The staff member was unhelpful, she did not even know if the lift was working, this along with the fact there was no heating or hot water made this the most un comfortable hotel i have ever stayed in, the breakfast was small and cold. |

The hotel was in the perfect for a city break as on 10 minutes walk from the station and very close to bars and restaurants . the hot water and heating packed in and after reading comments this seams to happen regularly and there were no notices letting people know . |

The hotel was surrounded by area's that fufilled our needs. Also, the breakfast in the morning was very delicious. Beds weren't the comfyest and rooms were a bit dated. |

The convenience of its location to the city and railway station. The 24 hr availabilty of the bar and front desk arrangements. The triple room was plenty large enough. The breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. The lift was broken and the bottom of the shaft was visible and dirty with rubbish. The entrance is around the back and not very well sign posted. The shower was hot in the morning but only cool in the evening. |

Nothing it was terrible Tiles missing in bathroom, shower leaked, only hand towels, lino had large gap around toilet, large bleach stain on carpet, bottom of bed had been kicked off and replaced with wood of another colour, no TV remote and only 5 channels, blankets on the bed, no spare pillows when requested twice, curtains didn't touch sill and were then short by 4 feet in the middle. Room above a night club with no sound barriers. List goes on |
