Good location, friendly staff, tea & coffee facilities, good shower.

Room smelt of smoke, single small bed.

The price was right, it's location is excellent for parking, it is a short walk to the city centre and convenient for the Sage and the Baltic. Hotel room was clean, modern and adequate. Nice biscuits. Will probably stay again sometime

The room was clean. Location was good.

Carpet in foyer and corridors was dirty and scuffed giving a bad impression on arrival. Also difficult to find your way into the hotel - could be better signposted.

Great showers and comfortable nights sleep with super friendly staff.

The carpet in the communal areas was in desperate need of a good clean.

room was right near fire door so very noisy when it kept banging. also was told by hotel staff we could park free in dean street car park after 5. they failed to mention you have to pay from 8am so got a parking ticket!!!

The windows were thin/cracked and didn't stop any noise from outside at all. At times we thought the windows were open when in fact they were not. The beds were very uncomfortable. The carpet was coming away at the seams and in places had been patched. The curtains barely closed due to a bodged fix at the top of the rail. The door outside constantly banged which caused our door to move which on several occasions caused us to think someone was trying to open the door. I found what appeared to be a paracetamol under the bed by accident when moving the beds closer together.

Room was spacious with a very comfy and clean room, central location.

hallway and stairs could do with a carpet change - but not the end of the world. A little noisy early due to bin men etc.

It was close to all the attractions and close to all pubs and shops..

Was a bit loud, double glazing should be installed in the rooms.. but apart from that was great..

I liked that it was close to the train station and Tyne river. The renovated room was cute.

It is behind a strip club and very hard to find on your own. The elevator doesn't work so we had to take 3 flights of stairs every night to the room. It was noisy; you could hear everything outside. It's newly remodeled, but it was clearly rushed, as it looks sloppy.

room size was excellent, with ample space for the two of us.

the lift was broken, so lots of stairs to climb up to the 3rd floor,( and beyond into our attic room) and the windows in the room would not open very wide.

This is my 3rd vist in as many weeks, the lift is broken and shows little sign of being repaired. Therefore totally unsuitable for elderly or disabled people, my room was on the 3rd floor and luckily I travel light so it was good exercise!

I arrived late at night and the weather was cold and the heating was not on in the room. There was no soap dish in the shower so there was nowhere but on the floor to leave the soap. No phones in the room to contact reception. Nowhere to get water for the kettle. The sink was too small to fill up the kettle. The plug for the kettle didn't reach the socket. Cramped, warren like corridors.

Hotel room was fantastic and the welome from the staff was great. Very central location and close to all amenities on offer in Newcastle. Very close to the Quayside

Been a central hotel, you do get the noise from the revellers.

Room could have been cleaner. Too noisy. Peope banging about and making noise and generally disturbing residents in the early hours

Dirty stains on carpets and walls everything needed a good clean broken toilet seat reported nothing done about it window ledge used has ashtry very noisy at night
