The decor, modern and stylish with a smashing bathroom. Good breakfast and welcoming host - Jason. Very clean and with an extremely comfortable bed. Loads of hot water and nice toiletries. The design of the rooms and the art on the walls.
Swain House is a lovely place to stay but if I had to find something negative - two small things 1. Our room at the front was very close to the houses opposite. 2. I was not so keen on the shared table for breakfast but my partner thought it was fine.
Good location well appointed rooms comfy beds good breakfast and luxury bathroom. Jason very helpful
Quality room Quality breakfast Excellent location
Jason has created a true luxurious sleek design boutique hotel with attention to details. Very comfy room and beautiful bathroom. I wish I had time to enjoy the living room and its lovely sofa opposite the fireplace. Jason also recommended great restaurant nearby.
I wish I had Nespresso machine and mini bar in the bedroom but its me being demanding.
Everything we expected and more. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Jason. Breakfast was great. Their hearts and souls has gone into this little gem of a bed and breakfast. It is worth the stay and I can't wait to go back. Would whole heartedly recommend without any hesitation. Loved it!
there is nothing to dislike
A lovely boutique B&B with great attention to styling detail - the sitting room/breakfast room is lovely. Very nice room and good bathroom. A relaxed feel and Watchet was a real gem. Big on its heritage and a real buzz about the little town.
Although we arrived early we were given a warm welcome and access to our room without any difficulty. We enjoyed the lively conversation with the other guests over breakfast and we were delighted with the quality and comfort of everything in our room. In particular the fact that the shower was set at a good temperature and easy to use pleased my wife no end.
We hated the fact that we could only stay for 3 days !
Bedroom was huge, black out blinds and fresh brownies daily, lovely bathroom and superb shower.
Being on a main road you will notice the noise from early traffic, so perhaps ask for a room facing the back garden. Having to share my breakfast time (great idea if you are feeling sociable at that time in the morning) with complete strangers sitting on a large bench - seats up to 8 all at one go! Not my cup of tea.
We felt really pampered. Our room was beautiful but it was all the extra touches that came with it that made us feel we were enjoying a luxury break. We didn't have to ask for anything because everything we wanted was already provided. Breakfast was worth getting up for and Jason was the perfect host.
A large and well-appointed room with a splendid en-suite bathroom and excellent breakfasts
The interior design and friendly staff
What a place, Everything about Swain House is incredible from being met at the door by Jason to check-out.... The attention to detail is staggering. Would recommend over & over again, defiantly has the WoW factor!
Watchet itself is rather bleak & doesn't offer a lot. We're not into seaside madness & commercial resorts such as Minehead with all its tourists shops & amusement arcades! But a couple of nice wine bars & restaurants are needed in Watchet.
