Beautiful hotel and surrounding area, excellent staff and the food was lovely too.
Although the room was lovely it wasn't made for people over 3 feet tall. Spent all of our time stooping which gave us aching backs, the bath took forever to run and the mirror was impossible to see through unless you posed a squat position.
In The evening the meal choice was good excellent breakfast and good service.
Ensuite was spacious but the toilet was badly sited not making the best use of the space.
Food wasn't great
The hotel is well managed and clean, with an excellent "tavern" (including restaurant) and pub. The location was superb (2 miles outside of Betws-y-Coed on the road to Capel Curig) and there was very little noise from the road.
We were in a shallet and at night all you could hear was the moving about of people up stairs. I know you expect to hear other people and thats fair but this was so loud it would wake you up.
The room was clean and welcoming, the location was lovely
The food was average and the bathroom in need of a thorough deep clean, particularly around the shower that had a bit of mould
Outside look Sheets very clean
Rooms old and dated Asked for bunks had double and bed sofa, put up bed put in room. As had boy and girls with me. Breakfast poor. Staff not over friendly, breakfast staff not very helpful on first entering , we were not informed we could sit in restaurant area as with other we sat in pub area,
Lovely complex in an ideal location next to swallow falls. Nice clean rooms and staff very helpful. Large car park. Enjoyed our stay.
Ample parking and reasonable sized rooms for families (3+). Staff friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast and evening restaurant.
Freezing cold showers at all times of day and night, dark rooms, dated décor (needs a revamp). Flat screen TV with very poor reception - impossible to watch.
All of it Excellent
Walls to thin a little bit noisey at times
Allways love my stay there. Breakfast is great too and the pub lunches are great value
Near the main waterfalls, very welcoming and helpful, nice room and good breakfast. Nice gardens and seating area where you could relax and a play area for kids (Although that was not of interest to me).
About 3 miles from town and local bus service ends about 60.30 PM and Taxi's in the town generally finish around the same time, so if you do not have a car it is hard to go out of an evening. The bus service is also poor with a very infrequent service.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly and having our dog was not a problem. Usually Hotels are funny but they were so good. The food in the pub was lovely and great value. The breakfast was very well cooked and presented and the staff were so accommodating and polite and could not do enough for us. We would have stayed a extra night but they were fully booked sadly. We will definitely.
The room was large.
Check-in is until 9 pm, but in 8 pm the reception was already closed and the key was left at the bar. Barmen was very helpful but still it was quite hard to find the room. Parking is not free by the way. It's Pay and display and there's a huge sign which reads that parking fee will be refunded. Next day we were told that it would receive refund only if we bought anything from the shop. Wow.
very comfortable bed. very clean bathroom.
very noisy. breakfast was very limited for choice and what was available was poor
The hotel is really nice, rooms are clean and cosy, friendly staff and beautiful waterfall just in front of the hotel.
I liked the children's play area, the food was delicious and the hotel room was spacious. The reception staff were very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and it was a very quiet room. The kids loved the bunk beds.
I would have liked a bath in the hotel room.
Everything was very good and we enjoyed ourselves
Not a moan but quite a walk into town.
The food was good with quick service, nice selection of beers.
Too far away from town and there were no taxi's
Clean and warm bedroom, cheap pub food and good quality
We got back from a local town at 23.30 and couldnt get a drink at the bar before bedtime on a saturday nite
Very friendly staff, rooms were clean and well maintained on the whole, parking was excellent, breakfasts were second to none and the stay was in general well enjoyed.
Only tried the bar once, food was okay but not great. Bar was very quiet but we were out of season so this can't be held against them. Television in the room was analog signal only and reception was quiet poor as was the wifi reception.
all in all a great couple of days we wanted to stay an extra night , but you where fully booked , shame , all of us 57 yrs 67 yrs 11 yrs 7 yrs of age all agreed your mattresses are the comfiest we have ever slept on , sooo comfy ...................
Great place, friendly and welcoming staff.
It wasn't really I dislike, just the hotel was really warm and you needed to open all the windows in our room.
Nice hotel we have stayed before x room lovely. Very clean, I'm fussy regarding my bed, but there bed covers and linen was amazing x spotless was the room. Overrule the hotel is lovely x
