The hotel is tired
reasonable, fair priced, clean accommodation. not far from town.
no real atmosphere, buzz , cheery welcome or feel within the hotel.
location close to city centre and close to restaurants and leisure facilities
very shabby public areas. bedrooms in need of refurbishment. no valance on bed leaving divan exposed. lumpy bed. chaotic breakfast service.poor quality items - e.g bread and yoghurts.pot holed car park.
The location is excellent for travel into the city centre not too far from the subway. Clean and tidy with helpful staff
Could not fault this hotel
Friendly staff, comfortable beds and great breakfasts! Handy for the frequent buses into/out of town and it had a good car park. Easy to get to off the M8 motorway.
Second night was totally ruined by guests laughing loudly from 01.30 till around 5am in adjoining room and various other rooms around the hotel. They were very noisy in car park area as well. Our friends were disturbed by people in room next to them as well. Many hotel guests complained about the noise the next morning. Staff very apologetic and we were given a refund. We were told the hotel was closing down the following week. THAT is a pity as it is a handy reasonably priced hotel. I had previously stayed there and it was very good then.
The staff were excellent after dismissing the outside as a bit uninviting the inside was pleasantly surprising both in the bar area and also the room which was comfortable and cleaned to a high standard would revisit
The dinner menu did not have a wide enough selection to rich for me with no plain food for those who cannot enjoy the above
Shower water pressure awful. Staff not very helpful.
very helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfast, small bar but adequate
Breakfast Excellent Staff went out of their way to help.
Bed Uncomfortable. Shower took far too long to get warm. TV Dated-Volume did not go loud enough. Leisure Club closed down- but advertised as full access.
Th location was convenient for our trip : parking on-site , near subway and buses and only a walk away from SECC area. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in great need of refurbishment. It really is shabby. On our last morning we could get no hot water in our room and the extractor fan did not work. The TV was ancient and only had access to a few channels. The bedside lights were designed so you could not read in bed. For the price I expected a lot better
Great Location Clean Hotel Great Breakfast
Bar remains open all night which is great but the Lounge closes between 2am and 5am ... rather silly So easy to get lost in Glasgow
The place is nothing like the pictures on the internet and the rooms weren't clean
Next to lift
We stayed at the hotel before flying out on holiday the next day. Our stay was great value for money, we did not expect the Ritz, but the restaurant and food were lovely, and then we had a great breakfast before setting off on our journey.
The rooms were nothing special. The beds were made but looked hurried (sheets not tucked in properly etc.) Our TV didn't work properly but as we were only there 1 night it didn't really matter.
The staff were friendly and helpful as usual and hotel as a home from home feel
Close to subway station, wheelchair friendly, good value, good breakfast options, value bar, and close to Ibrox
on arrival told they were not expecting us, until I produced printed booking form. no telephone system so asked for a knock at 6.00am to attend meeting at 7.00am no knock so slept in late for meeting no regrets from staff.
Parking, Room size, Bathroom size
Could do with some updating
Excellent size car park Very friendly staff Good choice for breakfast Perfect location for West Glasgow/Paisley
Lounge a bit small, standing room only
The location was excellent when you drive for the first time overseas. Was great we could park our car there. Staff were very accommodating with everything we asked.
Fee parking, helpful receptionist, good decoration for the Commonwealth Games. Had what you needed for a short stay.
Breakfast seating was chaotic. Bedrooms a little dated. Noise from the road.
Location reasonably close to the events.
The clunking lift.
