Location only. The hotel is in need of investment ans the price entry is too high for the standard offered. |

Relaing, lovely pool, good atmosphere, wedding reception being held at the time. Though some modest improvement to decor might be of benefit-this is not a priority in a recession.Actual setting pretty though a housing estate on outskirts a bit of a pity. All in all, enjoyable! |

The location was not brilliant, if you wanted a change from the hotel menu you needed to drive to find a restaraunt. Having explained that we would be paying by cash the receptionist still tried to charge our debit card with an inflated bill stating that she had estimated how much our total spend for the weekend would be, we weren't the only couple to suffer this occurence. |

Leisure facilities are good although changing rooms below this standard Bedrooms, bathroom and corridors very tatty and dated. Bar meal menu limited and expensive. I would not stay here again, prefering to spend the same money but in greater comfort. |

The room was comfortable and clean and quite large enough for us. I note someone said the pillows were hard. When I tried to sleep on two I would have to agree, but I put the firmer one on the chair and found the other pillow to be quite soft enough. The breakfast was excellent, you have a good chef. Nice quiet location, no traffic noise no noise from kitchens etc. No, except the outlook from the room. We looked out at a large hedge, but as we only needed to sleep there it didn't really matter. |

It was close to ipswich, surrounded by residential property but gave the feeling that it was out of town, countryfied. This was due to the surrounding grounds. Service in the restaurant was on the slow side. |

This was booked just for an overnight stop on the way home and as such all we saw was the reception, our room and the dining room, all of which were of an excellent standard, from the warm greeting on arrival to the prompt and courteous checkout. Excellent value for money and i would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was edible. The evening dinner was appalling and very overpriced for the quality. The vegetarian options were limited and the starter was manufactured rubbish and the bread was stale. |

Nice facilities, good hotel location, opportunity to relax, friendly and helpful staff, very good food variety. Room interiors seem to be a bit dated, some refreshment would do good, especially in the bathrooms. |

The ability to relax in a lounge area away from our romms where we could meet other people but not in a "pub" atmosphere - and the gfrounds. The fluush handle for the toilet being in the shower / bath area. |

An Edwardian hotel under new management since August 2006, The Waverley is ideal for the business or leisure traveller. |
This historic Grade II listed building dating back to 1700 is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and train station, and offers renovated, comfortable interiors. |
Just a short walk away from the bustling town centre, this small 10-bedroom hotel is set within a wonderful Georgian building in the Suffolk town of Ipswich. |
Set in the Suffolk town of Ipswich, this charming Edwardian property has been sympathetically renovated to provide a range of modern comforts, whilst maintaining its original features. |
