Bedroom very cold - heating needs improving

Hotel situated quite practically outside Dundee in small but beautiful park, unfortunately close to main transit road. Very nice receptionist, helpful, and competent when we had to change rooms due to water coming through ceiling from room above.

Poorly competent service in the restaurant, cuisine uninspired, rather small choice on menu, too expensive for the quality given, in contrast to rather good impression given on hotel´s own website.

Dinner was very disappointing. Service was also very slow /poor.

Great location, around 3 miles from centre and easy to find from the road in. Good parking. Rooms - spacious and good facilities, with nice shower. Staff very pleasant.

I asked for double bed but was given twins. I didnt make a fuss as I was tired and it was late. Expensive internet - lan only in rooms (£5), despite WiFI on website (this was only in public areas).

Nice reception area and bar Lovely restaraunt food not bad. Staff very attentive. Maybe just a little over priced

The room was cold despite radiator being on max. Lighting in the room not great. Internet access free in lobby and bar but not in room. There is a £ 5 supplement for this however it only works if you have a laptop, as they give you a usb cable or something. I had an iPad so it was useless. The bear essentials for tea and coffee making( hope you don't want more that two cups)

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Facilities in refurbished room excellent and Free WiFi in bar/reception a real advantage for business users. Great value for money.

Only small down point was room I was in had obviously been refurbished sometime recently but since then there must have been a water leak in/on ceiling. Athought this has been fixed the redecoration of the ceiling could have been done better...ie using matching colour paint.

Nice hotel stayed many times good location very easy to access. Rooms good comfortable, large tvs, decent bathroom excellent value at the discounted rate cheaper and better than travel inn great buffet breakfast too well recomended

Minor points in my room their was continuous noise from a fan or generator next door not excessive noisy but you could hear it.when I first arrived early very little parking but o/k later. Probably the hotel is not so good if youre specific visit is for the town it is a ten minute or so drive

The rooms were very clean and comforfable. Food was good but a bit pricey for what you got.

The food was a bit expensive and drinks. We had breakfast 2 mornings and did not think the price we paid was worth it. The last morning they had no mushrooms or black pudding had to ask for toast.

Bedroom and bathroom. Both luxurious.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel, it was great to be able to park this time. We avoided the hotel during our last visit as on previous occassions we hadn't been able to park due to large functions. I would strongly recommend that parking is reserved for guests. The staff were exceptionally friendly and customer oriented.

Something completely stupid: the base of the bed was not covered by a sheet/valance (the mattress had a sheet), the room was very nice and this was something that spoiled the effect.

General ambiance. Very good bar and lounge area. Room service very prompt.

We enjoyed our stay at the landmark as the staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities very good food was good also and we will certainly stay here again many thanks Roy and marion
