Friendliness of the staff. Felt comfortable in all areas. Choice @ breakfast. In the room there was no information about the hotel facilities incl dining times. However helpful staff did advise when question asked. |

Cleanliness of rooms. Courtesy of staff esp.at breakfast. ease and availibility of car parking . Location .. just off the main road north yet quiet. Its showing its age and needs a refit....... or does it ?does that rob places of any character ? often yes. Fine for the money "homley" yet not run down. |

The rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped We were not given the rooms we requested ie we reserved twin bedded rooms and were given double rooms. The hotel did however reduce the price as a result of the error. The cookedbreakfast was only average and suffered from being prepared in advance in large quantities. The scrambled egg was bland and unappetising. The sausages were pale and the bacon sat in a tray with a lot of water. |

Convenient location, easy to find. Good food in the restaurant, friendly service. Armchairs in bar were shabby and some redecoration was required in parts of the hotel. |

Room was nice and clean and staff were friendly Bar meal menu was not very exciting and could do with being extended and the restaurant was fully booked in the evening so we had no choice on where or what to eat |
