the room was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful. the evening meal was a disaster. we had a table booked for 8.30 and it was 9.10 before we got our starter. a starter was sent back and the other wasn't the best. the main meal wasn't hot. i ate mine (because i was starving) and my partner returned hers. the staff were very apologetic but you could tell their moral was low. we finally left the dining room at 10.50. we did get a refund in the morning but really i was very disappointed was the food. |

The use of swimming pool was great. Breakfast was good with pleasant service. Bed was extremely soft, too much so. Showers for swimming pool could be stronger. |

I have to be honest and say that the best part of my stay was leaving. I would advise anyone thinking of staying here to think again. We arrived at the reception and waited 15 mins before anyone turned up. When we got to our room the key card did not work, if it was not for a helpful maid (the only really helpful member of staff we meet on our stay) we would have had a very long trek back to reception. |

Reception and leisure club staff were on mobiles to friends rather than being attentive. Carpets in bar, corrridor and restaurant needed vacuuming. Service at dinner was a disaster. Cost refunded. Manager was to contact us but hasn't yet 5 days later. |

Well-equipped gym, swimming pool, steam room. Beautiful view. Close to Langbank train station. Thin walls causing you to hear neighbours. Some fascilities need refurbishment. |

The beautiful setting of the hotel and the peaceful atmosphere. The cleanliness of the room and hotel generally was very disappointing. Tables in the room were dusty and bed linen was stained. Little things like no bulbs in the lamps bring down the standard generally. In relation to the other areas of the hotel, something as simple as cleaning the windows would make a difference. |

it was very basic and clean The welcome was poor with no clear directions to my room. Room service was average, although for breakfast I had no toast with my breakfast delivered. as a lone female I wanted to remain in my room for meals and I did feel this was resented by the staff even though I had to pay a £5 suplement! |

the location and outside appearance, this hotel could be something special, but unfortunatly comes up well short currently The 20mins at reception i had to wait until a member of staff appeared to check in. Only 2 TV channels that worked, no remote control for the telly, in need of major referb to bring upto standard |

Very friendly staff and excellent room. The food was fairly good in the restaurant. Views were fantastic. Although there was a disabled parking space and we informed the reception staff that my partner is disabled, we were dismayed by the number of steps within the hotel. Even if we had been given a room on the ground floor - which we were not - the restaurant and bar were still only accessible via a number of steps and the toilets near to these were down even more stairs. |

The location is ideal, it allows for easy travel by car into Glasgow while allowing a fantastic location for exploring the countryside around the river Clyde. The views from the rooms and the dining room are on a clear day spectacular The room was very disappointing. On arrival the heater did not work this was replaced with an air heater. The shower has a curtain which, on the lighter side, would suck in toward you covered in cold water this would cause you to flinch into a safety handle which protruded from the wall a ridiculous amount. The room was 'tired' and in need of a serious renovation. |

Very homely feel about the place. Swimming pool was great. The staff were not always very friendly. We had wanted to use the Spa facilities, but due to the fact that it was not signed or easy to find, we could not book in time. |
