Food and overall service at this hotel was good for the price also the views over the clyde were stunning I did not appreciate the amoun t of power cuts that we had during our stay which spoiled our use of the amenities such as the spa and pool etc, also the distance and stairs from reception to our room was a bit much, with no offer of assistance. |

We found the staff particularly friendly and helpful. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable.Very good food, and beautiful views. We accessed the hotel cross country from Irvine, via Dalry & Houston, in the dark and either missed signs for the hotel or they weren't there from that direction. After touring all of Langbank, we eventually got onto the A8, turned round at the next roundabout and on return to leave the A8 for Langbank, then picked up good signs for the hotel. |

Very friendly staff and extremely clean. Excellent view over the Clyde and mountains from our room. The dinner price in the restuarant was very expensive. |

It looks beautiful - ideal setting! Spa room looked lovely and steam room great. wedding took place when we arived had to go in the same entrance as the guests - wedding guests sitting at reception so could not find where to check in. no one told us where to go for breakfast so had to try to find on our own then no clean tables, then no food had to wait for it. |

Super welcome and great country location. Food/drink sensibly priced. One minute drive/walk from reception to the actual rooms. Room size is massive and view from the river facing rooms great. Sadly didn't have the time to try the golf! |

The hotel is set in magnificent grounds with breathtaking views from every window ,the staff were pleasant & polite . We ate in the restaurant & the menu was varied & good value for money. all in all a lovely relaxing couple of days . The only downside was that I requested an extra pillow and towel and never received them. |

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room, and excellent dining. The location is also good for exploring Scotland or for further afield via the airport Satnav will take you to the original rough track entrance (inconveniencing the person who lives in the house nearby) Confusing finding the hotel reception - especially when a wedding is being held in front of the reception desk! Better signage might help. It's a bit like a rabbit warren once inside-much easier to drive or walk around the outside |

The setting/scenery and breakfast. Yes the directions to my room overlooking the golf course were not clear and at some points I reached a corner with no sign. Both nights I was there I ended up getting lost. It was quite noisy between rooms too, I heard every conversation from my neighbours. |

The relaxing scenery over the River Clyde, providing an 'away from it all' feeling so close to town. With the extensions that have taken place, our room was a fair distance from both entrances. Too many stairs. A rabbit warren effect. |

We enjoyed the large bed and facilities in the room. The views and receptionists were very good too. (I travelled and stayed with my son - this was not on the list). We were disappointed with the £20 evening meal. The food was good but the amount was not sufficient for men particularly. The rain wasn't too good either !! |

Stayed on two seperate nights during the same week. Excellent welcome and check-out from Reception staff. Hotel a bit in need of a facelift. Bar area not very inspiring, and a long walk from hotel room. |

Beautiful setting; spacious room, value for money at discount price; convenient location for Glasgow, Loch Lomond etc. Friendly staff other than reception. Lukewarm reception; most accommodation in annexes a long way from original hotel and reception; looking a bit "tired". |

the room was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful. the evening meal was a disaster. we had a table booked for 8.30 and it was 9.10 before we got our starter. a starter was sent back and the other wasn't the best. the main meal wasn't hot. i ate mine (because i was starving) and my partner returned hers. the staff were very apologetic but you could tell their moral was low. we finally left the dining room at 10.50. we did get a refund in the morning but really i was very disappointed was the food. |

The use of swimming pool was great. Breakfast was good with pleasant service. Bed was extremely soft, too much so. Showers for swimming pool could be stronger. |
