The location was beautiful. The staff were very polite. Second evening I had to wait over an hour for a breakfast menu to be brought to my room and I had to chase my request.Last morning I asked for breakfast in my room between 7:20-7:40. I had to ring to chase it at 07:45 and it arrived at 07:50. I was unable to finish my breakfast and due to checking out aswell was late for my pickup to the office.

The room that I stayed in was immaculate, tastefully decorated and the staff were very helpful and friendly. i didnt like the service at breakfast time. It was my first time staying at the hotel and no one explained what to do. I dont understand that the coffee and toast is served instantly and that by the time you have ordered your cooked breakfast everything was cold

Location for Glasgow Airport This hotel was contrary to expectations. We booked 3months prior our stay and expressly asked for a nice view, we got room 63; a lead flat roof and the room oposite out of one window and the rubbish bin store out of the other, the glass was frosted half way up in an attempt to stop you seeing. To fill the kettle you had to stand in the bath. The free wi-fi 'in all rooms' as predominantly advertised did not work. Prior to arival my wife called and asked for an early check-in, when we got there one hour before the advertised check-in time and mentioned this to the receptionist she stated 'you may have asked but you didnt pay for it'. The bed was very hard, bathroom was shaby with broken tiles, and the food in the bar was so bad we left it. On consulting the manager (before we went to the bar) he appologiesed for the problems admitted knew the wi-fi didn't work, it hadn't for some time, his MD's was also aware about this and other problems. He [the manager] kindly discounted our cost by 53 pounds so we only paid 100 pounds for a bad night and non perfomance of a contract! I ask the manager why they accepted my booking when they could not perform the contract, he agreed they should have let us know. A fellow guest told us he had no remote for his tv; reception stated 'well there should be one'. He had to watch the football in the bar, wi-fi also failed to work in his room. This hotle is run on the ecconomic law principle;I.E. Its cheaper to discount a guest than to rectify the problems, and they know some guest will not complain, I have no doubt this is the plan of some 'bright spark' md who is not commercialy astute, since this plan will fail in the end, the sooner the better for this hotel.DO Not stay here.

It was family relatives from the Cayman Islands staying and they were full of praise regarding the staff and their attention to detail. They had enquired about soya milk and even though there was none the first morning, the next morning at breakfast they had it available as well as soya yogurts. As they are in the hospitality business they are very aware of customer service and were full of praise for the staff. The gym and pool. When the heater was turned on (they're use to 82 degree heat!) there was a lot of dust and a slight burning smell from the heater. The main entrance inside could be greatly improved to feel more inviting without loosing it's character. As this is one of the first impression people get of the hotel after entering, it lets it down. A porter service for transporting cases and people (why not use the golf carts?) to the new part of hotel as there is no lift. Draging cases up those stairs - again not good for the overall impression of the hotel.

Nice location, great pool area and clean. Breakfast quick and good quality. The staff were very friendly and I guess they tried to help with the couple of problems we had... We had paid for internet, but could not get it in the room for our full stay, although the reception staff said it should be working...Bedroom ok, but we had a dripping shower head which we could not turn off, this was suppose to be fixed the first day but someone had just turned the tap with so much force that my wife couldn't turn on the shower the next day!!!

Staff were all nice, from reception, to restaurant, to pool staff. The pool was clean and good temperature. We appreciated being given a towel for the swimming pool. We loved the steam room and sauna facilities too. The bedroom kingsize bed was great, the bathroom was good as well. The Restaurant food was very disappointing. The service was excellent but the food was uninteresting and expensive. The wine selection was poor. It put us off from getting breakfast the next day in the hotel.

Great location with views over the Clyde, spacious rooms, good facilities and restaurant. Very good water pressure for shower Bar a bit small, but compensated for by very nice resident's lounge. Old part of hotel dominated by weddings over the weekend, but kept separate from main areas used by residents.

The double room we had was very spacious and views across the river Clyde and the golf course were magnificent. The breakfast was super and again the views from the dining room were wonderful. We went to the Bar for an evening snack as we did not have time for a meal but it was very disappointing and really just a golfers bar.
