Gleddoch House Hotel & Golf Spa ‘A Bespoke Hotel’    

We thought it was a really great hotel and very relaxing. Great bedroom very spacious and spotless. Staff very helpful. Near railway into central Glasgow.

Food was poor and beds were very uncomfortable. Reported this to staff who said this must be as a result of kids jumping on beds previously!

Good size room with excellent en suite facilities. Staff very helpful and efficient. Good selection at breakfast and all food well cooked and presented.

No complaints at all.

The room was a good size with 2 big beds. So was good for us as a family. The breakfast was very good and I also like the leisure centre with pool. Very good value for money hotel and would stay again.

A little bit out of the way if you don't have a car.

Pleasant helpful staff, a warm efficient welcome on arrival. Facilities included golf course, spa, pool and gym. Beautiful countryside plenty of country walks where you would be able to spot wildlife such as deer and a variety of birds. An ideal place to chill out in the countryside but also a good base to visit Glasgow and explore Loch Lomond and beyond..

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels but felt this should be marketed as a good 3 star. The bar lacked atmosphere and was very basically furnished. Selection of food at breakfast was very limted, cheap paper serviettes were provided, I would have expected linen at a 4 star hotel. Hotel information in our bedroom consisted of a bundle of paper stapled together.

Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Beautiful views from dining room.

Room booked for family of 4 but only towels for 2 in bathroom and no spare towels/bedding in room.

Location was excellent for touring the surrounding area. Food was excellentand very reasonably priced as was the wine and drinks. Staff were couteous, attentive and friendly.

Bedroom was very comfortable but had only a limited view of the surrounding countryside, but we were offered a move when other rooms were available.

The staff were very caring - I am disabled and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent!

The bathroom was 'tired' - it needed updating and decorating.

The food was not great. We ordered a pizza that was literally burnt to a crisp! Not value for £ at all

The view from bedroom window overlooking River Clyde. Warm bedroom. The breakfast. Friendly staff.

Poor housekeeping in regard to bedroom I.E. carpet had not been vacuumed, dusty furniture and some staining on occasional chairs. Shower over bath did not work very well. You could not get hot water and a good strong flow of water at the same time. Shower door had to be jammed with a facecloth to stop it closing across the actual shower. The bed was uncomfortable.

Good value for money , not too far from home , quietness.

Left with a bad taste as breakfast was a disaster , staff forgot my order , my family had finished their breakfast before mine came. Had to ask twice for more toast and hot water. Didn't feel bar meals were family friendly , prices high and seating not really family friendly . Girl at spa didn't know the difference between Zogg and Speedo goggles , got cheaper pair which were no use for a teenager. Overall impression was hotel trying to be 4star with a lot of inexperienced staff at front line . Not likely to be back.

location perfect for getting into braehead for shopping but lovely quiet location for resting at night. Kids also loved the pool

very disappointed with the quality of the food in the restaurant slightly dull and plain.The service though was very good.

Had a trouble sleep due to next room arguing & there kids running in out room at 11pm for over an hour & no night porter to be sence.

Nice helpful staff, spacious room, beautiful location

only one problem it needs more signs on the road side to let people know were you are , one sign at gate way is not enough.
