Food was lovely and helpful staff.
Couldn't get on WiFi in bedroom.
Lovely views Good pool Comfortable beds
Noisy wedding party Needs updating - tatty in parts
Beautiful setting with nice views. Friendly and helpful staff.
The whole hotel is aged and shabby and smells damp. The pool is cloudy and the swimming area smells strongly of mildew.
Loved the view from our room. Wonderfully delicious food. Friendly staff.
Friendly staff excellent facilities Although pool was not operational Great afternoon tea with lots of cakes
Stay too short
The bathrooms were disgusting with black mould in the grout and around the bath. Woodwork rotting at windows and in bathrooms . Carpets filthy in passages worn and needing replacement . The food in the restuarant was poor quality and have had better in a local pub for less money. Definitely not 4 star standards
the location was stunning, great golf course, room was spacious and comfortable. The room was also clean.
Cleanliness the hotel is in need of cleaning, litter lying in pool area for tw days, changing rooms were very dirty lockers in poor state some hanging off, gym area had no cups for water, no water in rooms and cold water tap ran warm, paid 60.00 extra to upgrade to db&b option to be informed on arrival this entitled you to a 50.00 spend in the restaurant. food was poor quality and overpriced, bar had cake on the floor and sticky tables when we went in in the afternoon and when we returned in the evening it was still in the same state.breakfast was awful one of the worst i have had mine was unediable and went back untouched no one questioned this. not worth the 214.00 paid.
location, room was comfortable, the leisure facilities are excellent. The food was very good.
It was noisy during the night. We had people running up and down the corridor at 3.15am our first night and the second night they had a wedding party on with music playing until 1am and then people going to bed until 1.30am. Not a good nights sleep. Having to pay for breakfast. It wasn't very clear what you did and didn't have to pay for. The view from our room was terrible - looking straight at a wall!
Everything was great with our stay staff, location, bed, room, and leisure facility.
Poor wifi apparently this is a problem only with apple devices so the front desk said.
Pleasant staff Fab room lovely leisure facility
Rooms were very big, and views were great. Hotel staff were very helpful & pool was good.
Restraunt staff were pleasent but slow, needed a car to get anywhere out with hotel.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The views across the Clyde and towards Glasgow were great. Has potential to be really good.
We had no access to the House itself as there was a wedding party. We felt like we were shoved upstairs to the golf club part of the hotel. Not what we had expected. The bar & restaurant weren't suitable for us to sit in as we had young children so we 'found' a lounge area and moved furniture to suit. The stair carpets were disgusting and upholstery not much better. In our family room, the bed had clearly been slept in and not changed. Yuk! The meals in the restaurant were lovely but the quantity was very inconsistent and some of our party felt their meal was overpriced. Bar prices were a bit expensive.
huge room, comfortable beds/pillows, nice and quiet
need a larger tv as you could hardly see it
Nice hotel in a great location, with very friendly staff.
1 pillow each is disappointing.
Really large room which could have done with a bigger tv but very comfortable and clean. Dinner was delicious and wine very reasonably price.
No wifi code offered at check in but we were not there long enough for that to be an issue.
Lovely place, staff very friendly. Rooms can be bit dated but comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is superb with excellent staff. Pool is basic looking but really good. Location good for travelling.
Rooms a little dated
Reception staff very efficient and welcoming. Good access by rail to city centre
Breakfasts poor and breakfast room needs a makeover looked shabby. Bedrooms the same
Gym Pool Beds Views Surroundings Decent pub just down the road (Wheelhouse Tavern) for food and reasonably priced drinks
Restaurant food Kitchen open vicinity to key hallway route to bedrooms - smells, noise etc. etc. Poor condition of virtually all fixtures and fittings Slow breakfast serving
Lovely location, nice meals
Lack of lifts, noisy guests
breakfast swimming pool
room looked tired and rundown wood in sauna broken smell in steamroom smell in staircase
human faeces on bathroom floor/ no tv reception - took them 3 hours and many phone calls to respond - did not fix the problem and then they ignored me. Checked out and asked for money back.
Great views, good access to public transport for Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, friendly and helpful staff, high quality golf course
Some dated facilities, and the two rooms we occupied had no Wi-Fi access, although this was recognised and the hotel, having been unable to rectify this, responded by giving us a small discount.
Location, large room, huge bed, good bathroom, well looked after
Would rather have shower rather than shower over bath Does look a bit 'tired'
Over-priced. Don't think they understand the meaning of the word "bespoke" as this hotel certainly isn't. Room was supposed to be a 'superior' double - anything but! Dangerous electrical socket. Badly fitting curtains. Bed valance that didn't fit. Just some of the faults in bedroom. Generally hotel decor and cleanliness poor. Will not be returning.
Comfortable beds, spacious room, beautiful setting, convenient to Langbank station for access to City. Breakfast of a good standard and staff friendly.
Only thing letting gleddoch down is it needs a fair bit of TLC inside and out. If you look beyond cracked tiles and stains on carpets etc you can have a very pleasant stay. I think it has great potential with some work.
