Best Western Gleddoch House Hotel & Golf Spa  

The pool was excellent the room were nice but with young guests very noisy as they arrived back at 3am and shouted laughed banged doors nn respect for anybody else we thought it was couples and familys only

The food was far to expensive unless you at in the bar on our second day we waited for over 30 mins for our breakfast and when we got it it was inedible the bacon was cold and wet the egg was not half cooked we could not eat it

Th hotel is dog friendly and this is an important aspect for us. In many ' dog fiendly' hotels the rooms allocated to pet owners are inferior to others in the hotel. This is not the case at Gleddoch our room was spacious and of a high standard. This was our second stay there and I would recommend it to other pet owners. The staff are polite and friendly and the food was amazing

The fantastic views.......The swimming pool, gym and sauna/steam rooms. The food was really as was the choice at breakfast. The staff were very attentive but not over powering!

Food generally good, but take the grisle out of the lamb,,, please. . On the good side this is a Beautiful hotel and grounds. Well kept. Quiet and restful.

Restaurant staff very slow and inexperienced for what you pay. Hotel staff, generally competent, but also less than accommodating. Get the impression that customer is taken for granted by the younger day staff serving a much older clientele. Managers are extremely competent and understand service but must spend their time all day managing a never ending line of cock-ups. for 70GBP a nite, it would be worth it. No more.

Our receptionist was friendly and outgoing, andhe made us feel very welcome at the hotel.

Actually to be very candid, our bathroom smelled like old baby diapers and was unpleasant. The rest of our bedroom was comfortable and well-appointed.

The location was very convenient to the airport without actually being in the city of Glasgow.

The restaurant at the hotel was on the pricey side and the hotel does not provide a free continental breakfast. The cost of breakfast at the hotel was a flat rate of 12.50 pounds which is an outrage. We found a very nice restaurant nearby for dinner in Langbank which was realistically priced. The cost of the rather nice hotel room was only 65 pounds so if one is on a budget stay at the hotel but do not eat there.

I would like to suggest they have an electrical point next to a mirror for drying and straightening your hair . as where the mirrors were there were no electrical points.!!!

The hotel rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. I did fInd them a bit tired though. Very reasonable priced rooms. Nice mix of families and couples staying. Great hotel for golfers and spa lovers.

We stayed at gleddoch house last valentines day 2011 and we enjoyed our stay that much we decided to return this valentines weekend. We were extremely disappointed that the valentines dinner dance was not on, even thought it's advertised online:-( we ate dinner in the restaurant and was disappointed by the small variety on the menu and when I received my chicken it was warm rather than hot. The small menu gave u a choice of two/ three courses for a set price however I found this expensive for the quality you were receiving. Will not be returning.

We both enjoyed the spacious rooms and cleaniless of the rooms very fantastic! Its peaceful without hassle!

Lovely big room, quiet location, lovely views.

No lift. Spa facilities disappointing and steam room not working for our whole stay - we should have been warned about this beforehand as we were told by a customer that it had not been working since before Christmas.

Clean, friendly, good food.

Good value accomodation with excellent customer service and good range of facilities

Nothing - no complaints, however it seemed that the hotel/room decor was a little tired and dated, although this didint affect my stay, and I would stay there again. Thank you.
