The staff were very friendly. Our room was lovely with a four-poster bed and stunning view. Being able to use the pool and sauna for free was a welcome plus. They forgot my sausages at breakfast! |

We enjoyed the food and leisure facilities within the hotel. The staff were very freindly & were all local. The views from the conservatory were lovely. I would have prefered to eat dinner in the conservatory but only the a la carte menu was served there which was not part of the DBB rate. The hotel decor needs refreshed as the wall paper was missing in some places and the shower doors came away at the bottom in room 1. |

The room was excellent, very quiet, and well cleaned; the leisure centre was good also. Reception staff were slightly abrasive. The service received when I had an evening meal was terrible. After insisting that I prescribe an exact time for a bar meal, I was kept waiting for half-an-hour before an order was taken, and my first course arrived after almost exactly 1 hour. |

The peace of walking along the beach and the stunning views over the Moray Firth. The hotel also provides a real haven from the hustle and bustle of life. |

Extremely polite and friendly staff, fantastic food, comfortable and clean room, lovely warm water in swimming pool, very helpful pool staff. The homemade wholemeal bread was just a touch too salty as were the olives, for my liking, but we can forgive that as the rest of the weekend experience was exceptional! |

Peacefulness, views and calm atmosphere throughout the hotel. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would not say I did not like this, but with a wedding going on at the same time on the Saturday, scope for residents was obviously restricted eg photographs of wedding party in different rooms. However, I understand that all custom is needed and it would not deter us from visiting again. |

We completed a form and left with Reception. Restaurant meal missed the mark although we liked the menu. The waitress was nice but she had not been properly briefed on the detail of the food being served. The sauces did not seem freshly prepared and overall the meals were not up to scratch. The Menu in the Restaurant gave a better impression the meal turned out to be.The conservatory meals were fine. |

The most important thing to us was the fact that we were able to bring our dog and she was made to feel very welcome but she is very well behaved anyway. The only complaint - and this is not against the hotel - was the very noisy young children (and parents) we had to listen to in the dining room and breakfast room. (Just one family with two young children). We did hear other guests complain and 1 left the breakfast room early because of this. |

The evening meals in the Conservatory. Painting was ongoing in some rooms and corridoors and this led to a heavy smell of paint in these ares |
