Golf View Hotel & Spa  

La posizione sul mare è particolarmente suggestiva

Struttura caratteristica , posizione tranquilla a due passi dal mare.Eccellente per chi ama il golf. Camere spaziose e confortevoli. Staff molto disponibile e gentile nei confronti di chi ha difficoltà con la lingua inglese.

Warm reception, very pleasant and comfortable room, excellent food, delightful view from the conservatory restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

Minor niggles:- The view from our bedroom was over a rather mucky old roof top. The gutter over our bedroom window was cracked or split. We had the window open at night time and thought it had been raining all night. It hadn't but the gutter was leaking water onto our window making it sound like rain. The lift makes 'weird' noises just before it stops at the 2nd and 3rd floors. Several guests wouldn't use it because they were afraid it would break down.

Easy reach of Inverness and Elgin.

There was a leak in the conservatory ceiling and water dripped in - although staff did place a receptalce to catch the water they failed to warn diners that it was there and I saw at least two persons bump into it. My room was directly above the dining area and some guests sat there until quite late and the noise kept me awake. Lack of double- glazing also makes the rooms overlooking the carpark liable to noise due to guests starting and revving engines very early and slamming car doors etc.

We always choose to stay at the Golf View simply because of it's magical location. However, the staff are always friendly and we know of a few who have worked there for ages which is always reassuring. The breakfast was great this time around and our room was huge. Best beds (moderately hard) of a 6 days out and about trip from Glasgow.

Evening meal menu very much fish & seafood biased. Thought food was quite expensive.

It was everything it said it would be. The food was fantastic the room was lovely. We have no complaints

An excellent hotel well located for Inverness and the surrounding countryside. Good food, warm rooms, pleasant staff and quiet position made for a short but restful stay.

The leisure facilities are good. Our meal at night was also very good

Last stayed there 8 years ago and nothing has changed esp the bar area. Not much atmosphere in the bar area , no music or tv for the football scores etc on a saturday but this is my own opinion and overall think the hotel need to be done up

Breakfast was disappointing small portion and lookwarm however I did. It like to complain

No heating in bathroom

Firstly, we had a very comfortable bed. Next the hotel has a good atmosphere overall. The pool is great - sitting there looking out over the sea. Dinner was also excellent.
