Convenient location, good parking, clean Beds are far far far too hard. Clearly cheap hotel grade, not acceptable in todays market.

I was very disapointed in my stay when me and my friends arrived the staff were not helpful atall and it took us a while to find our rooms.the fridge in my room was broken and the room was small and dark.the bathroom was very small and the shower was faulty and went very very hot or freezing and kept cutting out.i would not return to this hotel as when I complained the polish manager was very rude to me and my friends.

Near to football ground, although more like a 20 minute walk not 10 minutes as advertised The £10 breakfast was too much to pay, so went to a cafe as did other guests

The hotel had everything we needed at a good price and was bright and modern. The location was ideal for visiting our daughter at Newcastle University and for walking into town. Parking was free and we were close to the motorway which made it handy when we were going home. As there are a lot of fire doors in the corridors there tends to be some noise in the early morning when guests are coming and going.

It provided, exactly the type of short break myself and my husband were looking for. The location was perfect and the staff and locals were friendly and helpful. There appears to be some additions to the hotel going on at present and would only enhance what is already on offer. There were no negative aspects about our stay or the hotel in general.

Room was clean, modern and well stocked - toileteries, tea and coffee etc. The hotel was in a perfect location for both the city (food and drinks) and to the venue in which we were visiting Newcastle. The room was very cold when we arrived, as the window had been left wide open. The room (244) was the last on the floor and so we were awake at 5am due to the road noise. I would recommend the hotel - but to request a room away from the road.

Very nice room Hotel states it was 10min stroll from St James Park it took us 20mins running some of the way.It also said it was close to the Quayside it cost us seven pounds by taxi to get back to hotel. Music in our room from a private function was so load we couldn't sleep. Worse nights sleep I have had for a long time, was very warm but when I opened window had noise from air con units. Reception staff didn't give us any information on hotel facilities, ask us if we wanted a newspaper or breakfast.

Rooms are very clean and facilities within the room excellent. Friendly staff help. Although some facilities are basic it is a comfortable hotel. Restaurant and bar struggle to keep up even on a quiet night. Average wait foer a main course in bar and restaurant was 40 minutes on 21st Feb with very few clients. Wine ordered with meal never arrived. Staff work hard, managers perhaps need to manage.

The recent refurbishment and proximity to the Jesmond Metro makes this hotel the ideal choice for me. My only niggle was poor lighting in the bedroom and the low position of the 'dressing table' mirror

Location was good, close to Metro It was situated on a main road, so was slightly noisy. Our room was not warm enough and it would have been useful to give instructions on the heating system and key lock.

Good location between Newcastle Airport and City Centre for our annual trip to see Newcastle United. Pleasant staff who did their best to sort out the problem when our room wasn't available. Despite having booked a twin room (and calling the hotel seperately to ensure one would be available) our twin room had been given to someone else. However, the receptionist didn't know this and gave us a key to the room. When we walked in there were clothes and suitcases all over the place. We could have surprised someone very badly! This was poor management I thought. The hotel offered us complementary breakfast to make up for it but my ten year old I and had to sleep in a double bed which we didn't like. Also I was billed for the hotel on booking which I didn't like.

“We stayed in a king studio so the room was luxury. The hotel lobby was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was petfect for shopping, seeing the city and night out. Breakfast was a little overpriced and there could have been more facilities in the kitchen but overall fantastic hotel and a fabulous stay.” Stacey, Chorley |
