The bedlinen was very clean. Breakfast service was complete shamble, let down the rest of teh hotel. We came for breakfast at 9:15 had to ask and wait for table to be cleaned and ready another 10minutes. The food was running out no plates or bowls but staff was very slow, almost rude in their response.

Nice grounds, friendly staff, free parking and wifi. Although bath-tub and sink looked clean, bathroom floor (tiled) was filthy - had obviously not been washed (with mop/scrubbing brush, detergent and water) in several days! Given that the bedroom area was carpeted (dark floral pattern - hides a multitude), I shudder to think about when it might have been last hoovered!

Close proximity to Kent attractions and cycling, mountain biking paths. Bathroom looking rather tired with old taps leaking and difficult to use, specifically in room 110

Staff friendly and efficient, room comfortable and clean, good value for money, continental breakfast was included in room rate and there was a very good choice; cereals, juices, good quality bread for toast, ham, cheese, yoghurts, fresh fruit and pastries. we had been a bit concerned about negative reviews for this hotel, but, glad to say, our experience was entirely positive. we had booked for two nights, but as we booked them at different times, were due to have double room for first night, then change to twin for second. the twin room was a much lower rate, but despite that they offered us the chance to stay in the double for the second night at the same rate as the twin room would have been - we were very impressed. we didn't like the coffee that was served at breakfast, but there were plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room, so we just used those when we went back to our room after breakfast. also, tv was in a slightly awkward place in room - to the right of the bed, might have been so that noise to other rooms from the tv is reduced, but we would have prefered it to be at the end of the bed.

Friendly staff, pleasant decor, presentation of food very nice. There was only one disconcerting problem - the bed on wheels - helps move the bed to clean underneath but when you try and sit up in bed leaning against the wall the bed rolls away making it very difficult to actually stay sitting up in bed

Very friendly and helpful staff, good atmosphere, quiet and comforable. Ample free parking, Hotel is close to local amenties and Maidstone for shopping.. The all inclusive continental breakfast had plenty of variety and was more than adequate. Very satisfied an d would go there again On one of the two visits to the restuartant for evening meals, it seemed bar snacks meals were allowed to be consumed at the tables by people without a sense of dress code or appropriate language/behaviour. This seemed unfair to other diners.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Everything needed in room. Nice and warm and easy to control heat. Lovely food in bar and at breakfast. Only a minor issue but a power shower would be easier as the water took quite a while to heat up.

Nice, spacious room. Everything looked clean and up-to-date. Wifi only in public areas. Heating was a bit noisy (pinging sounds as the radiator heated up or cooled down, annoying at 4 AM)

Superb public areas, particularly the lounge and conservatory. The continental buffet breakfast included in the price was excellent and the bar meals we had were delicious. Staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. And A loud humming noise just over the bed - disappeared at the foot of the bed so we moved the pillows and slept well!

Pleasant setting once I saw it in daylight having arrived in the dark. Only negative is the Twin room I had was way over heated, the radiator was 'burning' hot and could not seem to turn it down despite trying! Resorted to sliding the window open but had little effect to the very hot and stuffy room, this also meant increase in the traffic noise too.

The location Bar and food prices were far to expensive for this type of hotel. Full breakfast should be included in the price.
