Location, pleasant staff, quiet, big room, value for money
No lift (next time we'll ask for a first floor room), breakfast buffet heater needs to be hotter
The Hotel looks very nice from the outside
Inside things are a little bit tired, the Hotel is right on the main road, the food wasn't fantastic and breakfast was not good either
Excellent staff Good value for money Good location Easy to find
Decor needs updating No hand towels Only 1 toilet roll
Staff were very efficient
Room heating was playing up
Really enjoyed breakfast time, it was great.
A small fridge would've been great in the room as we travelled with a small baby we wanted to put milk and baby food in the fridge. Also the water wasn't very hot in the evening when I wanted to shower.
Cold baths, heater not working, had to get a man in to fix it Got our room changed but this only had 1 radiator working and empty wine bottle on top of the four poster bed I have submitted a complaint but am still waiting for a reply
Not much at all to be honest!
Being charged an extra £10 on top of the £69.35 charged for the room for the night, for checking out later than 11am and NOT being made FULLY AWARE of this. I would NEVER, EVER stay here again as over the last 10 weeks house hunting in Medway, NEVER have ANY previous Hotels charged such a ridiculous, extortionate charge. It should NOT be allowed!!! NO hot water, BED creaky, TV in a stupid place to watch, NOT enough tea/coffee/milk and NO BISCUITS! Staff hostile, unfriendly & rude! To be AVOIDED!
The staff were polite and the room was clean and comfortable.
Some of the other guests on the same floor were being very noisy so was very hard to get to sleep.
The attitude of two particular members of staff, both in the restaurant who were very good in dealing with a dreadful situation regarding food/drinks, both at dinner and breakfast
Food! Poor on both days. Food was served cold. One starter arrived 10 minutes before five others one main course not available, but not informed until eating starter wine not cold and was told it was all they could do as had just come out of fridge. Chef can't do scrambled egg - and yet it was on the menu poor service from chef
The staff was very kind, the room was spacious and it was kept clean. I liked the hotel restaurant as well.
The central heating was a bit noisy at 5:00 am. The room furniture is OK, but it should be replaced in the next several years.
Quiet and clean. Good location for our needs. Bar, lounge and dining area were welcoming.
Entrance and reception area was sparse and not welcoming. Felt like a travelodge.
Staff made effort with our lunch though we were late.
Bit average and tired but ok
The friendly staff were always very attentive.
the whole experience
the bed mattress was very cheap
The room (101) was clean, comfortable and good value for money
Breakfast was under heat lamps, and as such, a little dried up
The location of this hotel was perfect for us as we were going to a wedding at Bradbourne House which is within an easy 10 minute walk in heels! The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was great - just what was needed for our post wedding hangovers, the staff were attentive and helpful.
Our room was ground floor near reception -No7 - there must have been several washing machines on the other side of the wall as they were whirring away all night.
The staff are very friendly and always happy to help
Only having hot water for the shower at set times,
Reasonably priced with professional staff and lots of space, the room was huge.
The bed was clean and comfortable and the room I was eventually moved to was warm
The original room I was given was cold, damp and smelly. The hotel decor has seen better days; the wall paper was peeling off the walls in places. The overall appearance was grubby and old. The shower curtain was going orange at the bottom. There was no wardrobe, just a clothes stand in the corner. I didn't like to use the mugs in the room and there were sachets of drinks but they were in a battered old tin with no lid. The food was awful - overcooked fishcakes, no Vegetarian or healthy options, side salad had seen better days. I had paid for breakfast but just had a cup of tea. What a rip off. Won't be staying again.
The buffet breakfast
Not being able to stay longer
Location and breakfast. Staff were friendly.
Slightly tired carpet etc. Would benefit from redecoration,
Price,comfort and food very goid
Room was very hot like a sauna
As a frequent traveller, this is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Check in staff disinterested, didnt pass on that I needed two nights, and no help with heavy suitcase. Room drab and cold, heater disnt work, thin towels, poor toiletries, no spoon on the tea tray! Evening meal taken in bar was truly awful, staff disinterested food appalling. Breakfast - no staff around, food lukewarm, room freezing. The worst thing- No WiFi in rooms, only in bar! Working travellers do not want to be forced to sit in a cold badly lit room to do their work, they want to relax in the room and chill out. Do not stay here, its the pits!
