They had taken note of our requests and provided extra pillows & walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We left the car in the car-park and used our bus passes to great advantage! There was no bath-mat provided - I slipped getting out of the shower! |

Location was ideal for getting around and the package of dinner, bed & breakfast represented good value A liitle tired around the edges and the shower was impossible to control, either stone cold or red hot, nothing in between! |

The Swimming Pool was closed and had been closed for over a month - this was not communicated to myself via Booking.com. This was a major inconvienence and disappointment as the swimming pool was the main reason for booking this particular hotel. |

The bedroom was ok. I thought the reception area was very tired looking and dowdy. The bar area too could have done with livening up. |

It was a good situation for what we needed to do in Newcastle. The room and bathroom were clean. The room was extremely 'scruffy' and in need of redecoration. It was also very small for a double room. The hotel is set beside very busy roads and was very hot - no air conditioning. Having the window open as was necessary made for a very noisy and disturbed night. Breakfast times were very limited for a 3 star hotel and the food was very average - particularly the cooked part. |
