We received a warm welcome. The decor and our room was beautiful.gardens and surrounding grounds are spectacular plus the view from our window.breakfast was a banquet of choice ,cooked and presented well, with a thoughtfull gesture of champagne cocktails.Later we were given a tray with home made cakes.everything was just perfect .cant wait to return again .Ann + Chris ,Chichester
Sea front location. Weymouth only 2 miles away Very quiet location superb food Incredible attention to detail. IE different crockery at each breakfast. plus other small items you cant help but notice that the majority of other establishments don't do, If you have looked at this website and are thinking of staying here then be assured this place is brilliant. also FRESH cakes or buns every time you come in from a day out. more than enough tea bags/coffee supplied plus milk.
Leaving to come home.
The breakfasts. Lovely fresh food nothing was too much trouble. Super home-baked cakes in the bedroom.
The room although perfectly adequate was a little cramped.
All of t, there was nothing to complain about other than the weather
Great service. Couldn't have done more to welcome us! Those little extras such as complimentary muffins, chocolate and even a flask of water when I brought back squash concentrate for my children were not expected but much appreciated!
Every thing we required was as we would wish.
No adverse remarks
After a good nights sleep the full English breakfast was brilliant.Including duck eggs from their own ducks to a good variety of home made cereals and jams. On returning in the late afternoon to find room had been tidied, coffee, tea etc had been replenished and couple of home made cakes had been left for us each day was a nice touch.
Location just outside Weymouth, overlooking Chesil Beach and Portland Facilities were excellent Immediate environment outside the farmhouse was lovely, with some walks right on the doorstep The Breakfast on our last day was amazing Views from the property were stunning Local pigs, ducks and bantams were a joy
Parking was a bit of a challenge
We felt very welcome over the four days we stayed. The breakfast was wonderful. And the location is great for walking. A plus point is the choice of places to eat within walking distance in the evening.
Sarah was friendly and helpful, and the cup of tea and cake when I arrived was most welcome! Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, with another cake! Great gardens with pigs and chickens too. Wish I'd had more time to spend there (small matter of a triathlon to take part in meant no time to take full advantage of the accommodation or surroundings).
Very friendly hosts and staff, excellent breakfasts, comfortable rooms, shower very good,I enjoyed my few days, and will stay here again.
Very friendly, efficient, welcoming and made to feel comfortable. Nice location, fun to see animals free to roam in garden
No faults to comment on
Very welcoming felt like at home Brilliant breakfast Fantastic views Quite location
Breakfast, comfortable beds, quality of sleep, garden and farm animals
Breakfast, unexpected thoughtful touches . Our hosts.
Access via a crowded suburban road.
We had a wonderful stay. Delicious breakfasts and a cake and choccie to go with a welcome cuppa in our room when we returned. Luxurious toiletries in the bathroom. We stayed for a week while we were sailing and the pampering was very welcome. Jane even dried my wet shorts on the aga. Superb views of the sea from the bedroom and of course the garden.
Warm friendly welcome eventhough we checked in at 11pm. Hosts hospitable, breakfast generous and more than adequate. Comfortable home. In fairness to hosts, I prefer a room outside of the homestead which is what I thought I was reserving.
Having bathroom outside of the bedroom and having to walk down the passage. overpriced considering not en suite. I think around £40 Max would be fair. Very noisy room on passage and from floor above.
Excellent in all respects
Warm and friendly welcome and pleasant attentive polite manner through out our stay. Breakfast was beyond compare, best we have ever had, even getting a varied choice as well. Tea and cakes were excellent. Views are stunning .Television had a good picture which is not the case in many main chain hotels. Room was very clean as was the whole place. Access to the fleet lagoon was easy and very pleasant.
Everything about the place! Very welcoming would highly recommend
Nothing at all
The location was perfect, the friendly welcome. The hospitality shown, calm, relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful views of garden and cohesion beach. Excellent facilities, lovely breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast.
It felt like home. The food was scrumptious and generous for afternoon tea on arrival and for breakfast. Beautiful surroundings and lots of animals to enjoy watching.
The homely feel of the place and the welcoming charm.
