St George Hotel And Leisure Club

El hotel es algo rustico,muy tranquilo, fiel al ambiente tipicamante ingles. Pero deberian darle un repason ( pintura) por dentro. El personal es amable e intentan ayudar siempre. Me encanto que tocaron el piano por las noches. No puedo opinar sobre el desayuno ( no lo he probado)

The hotel is in a great location ,5 mins walk from the centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The decor was very tired, chipped paint and very dirty and worn carpets. The jacuzzi was not working

Very happy with our deal (£40 B&B). Staff pleasant and courteus. Nice breakfast,

The lift was a bit slow and cramped!

The Food and Service also the locallity it was excellent for shopping would like to visit in summer time.

The only thing was the bathroom was a little tied looking but was very clean

Pleasant, friendly staff, nice lounge bar area. Good looking pool and health centre facilities (though we didnt have time to use them).

The parking behind the hotel is pretty badly designed with spaces at daft angles and causing cars to look randomly parked. I was also suprised at the lack of tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.

The Spa facilities are a nice surprise after a tiring day, breakfast buffet is also ok.

Maybe some automaticity at the front door and some inclination between the steps for the suitcases would be a good idea.

Central location for the facilities in town and the Conferance Centre. Used and enjoyed the Lesuire Centre during our short stay

The bathroom needed updating. There was no heating in the bathroom except a heated towel rail. There were no blinds on the window. Sunday morning the water from the shower and hot tap was cold.

Pleasant staff very helpful. breakfasts were plentiful and a good choice

Hotel was a little shabby chic and water was cold for both rooms for showers in the morning

It was warm, comfortable and quiet

Breakfast good [monday morning]evening meal[sunday evening] was a disgrace. Tried to tell waiter who just smiled, obviously had almost no english language

checked in late but greeted with enthusiasm. Lots of hot water for bath and shower, huge 'grand' rooms nicely laid out, tea tray full, kettle HUGE! Not noisy car parking Ok slept well

yes a couple of things, one of the beds was like a rock, general heating in the corridors was too much, lift too small, breakfast was really hit and miss, food ran out, no tables , staff not asking about tea or coffee til meal end. Long wait at checkout.

The restaurant was too expensive for food on offer. Only one vegetairian choice.
