Location was central, as long as you are able to walk up hills it was good.
Noise from nearby night club made sleep impossible,we had to close windows thus making room very warm. Hotel really needs an update it looks very tired and worn apart from reception area.
Location, spa facilities lovely
The room we were initially offered was very dingy, smelly, had an extremely creaky bed and the bathroom was mouldy and grubby. To be fair we were given a room change but the standard of the bathroom was only marginally better.
Location good, plentiful breakfast and downstairs bar and reception very good
Rooms are tired and bathrooms very basic. The rooms need a refurbishment
staff, location service in restaurant.
bar was a bit dull would not eat in there no atmosphere. Needs refurbishment to attract right kind of client.
The location is good to walk into a lovely town with posh shops good bars Breakfast very good Choice of restaurant or cheap good bar food
Rooms a bit tired especially bedrooms
The staff were generally friendly, the room was comfortable and reasonably sized. I had a back room that was overlooking the car park and it was nice and quiet. Standard was generally good.
Decor was a bit old but was clean and tidy. Limited spaces in car park so make sure you book a place early. There is a main road out front and a nightclub to the side so if you don't like noise ask for a quiet room (ask at the latest the day before you arrive as that is when they allocate rooms).
Was in a great position
Was very noisy till 3.30am!
There is a good swimming pool in the hotel as well as other leisure facilities. Our room was quite comfortable and fairly spacious. There was a reasonable choice at breakfast including cereals, pastries and cooked items.
Having to pay extra for parking was not good. The decor in the hotel was a little tired and the bathroom could do with a makeover. The shower was of a very poor quality. At breakfast on the first day we had to ask for cups, and then one turned out to be dirty - it had not been checked when it came out of the dishwasher.
Breakfast was lovely
The bed was very uncomfortable mattress dipped in both sides of the bed. Restaurant was not open although evening meals were paid for in advance. A table was set in reception which was not acceptable.
Liked the pool and gym area , also plenty of comfy areas to sit and relax around the hotel .
Didn't like the breakfast , looked like it had been sitting there for a while , sausage and eggs dried up , plus asked for tea for 3 people at breakfast , given a fair sized tea pot with 1 tea bag in , had to ask for another !!
swimming pool hot spa and steam room staff very friendly and helpful excellent facilities
breakfast chaotic understaffed however food was ok
swimming pool. quality of breakfast, location.
lack of toilet paper in room(had to collect myself from reception), service in breakfast room (ordered pot of tea which failed to appear until we chased for it), noise from outside hotel right through the night (clubbers going home). wasn't told we needed a code to exit the car park so held evryone up at the barrier.
room was too warm couldnt get a fan
Excellent location for the exhibition centre. Comfortable beds
Room a bit tired but dirty and dusty. Rooms at front of hotel very noisy with traffic.
The location is very good for getting around the shops, it is also central for good quality restaurants. Beautiful parks and gardens. Bus links to nearby attractions. The hotel hospitality and food was of an excellent standard and very good value for money,
We were not able to park at the hotel on this occasion due primarily to a wedding fair exhibition . However we did manage to park for free a short distance away . Advisable to check upon making a booking if disabled and need to park close to hotel.
Friendly Staff Location
Room a little dusty, but I find this in a lot of hotels.
We had to wait over 3 hours for the rooms when we checked in and 2 guests had traveled from overseas
Location in centre of Harrogate. Clean. Leisure club facilities.
Very poor standard of accommodation for the price. Shabby, very battered. Breakfast staff disorganised.
good food, friendly staff, quick check in and out
rooms were dated
Location is excellent
Rooms are poorly equipped , very small and shabby. The bath had a visible tide line along with peeling paintwork . Reception staff sat eating their evening meal in the reception office and I was made to feel like an interruption when I checked in. No wifi and was told "join the cloud " ??
Room was decent, breakfast was good. Hotel looked nice, great location opposite the International centre, perfect for our trip.
There was a stained chair in our room with bleach or something. The toilet wasn't flushed after the last guest! Apart from that ok.
great central location, comfortable, good food, good value
We loved the swimming pool and spa area.
The bathroom needed some updating.
