Staff were excellent and friendly, food was great. The breakfast was excellent. There was even a coffee machine in the room. Room and bathroom were very clean with Molton Brown lotions.
The lift only went to the first floor, but staff will help with luggage to second floor, if required.
Free WiFi. Comfort, view, sense of space
My advice. Don't bother to eat in the dining room. Bar snacks much better in quality and value. Our dining room meal on sunday evening took over one hour to arrive. My meal was mostly animal fat and a skimpy quantity of vegetable shavings. Manager apologised and did not charge for pre dinner drinks or my meal. This however did not spoil our stay, and we will come again.
Beautiful location, comfortable hotel, friendly staff good food
The beauty and comfort of the hotel and the beauty of the location..
The bath was very slow to fill (low pressure) and two electric sockets in our room didn't work.
Our room overlooked the gardens and trout farm at the front. The hotel had a lovely, cosy feel with a very welcoming bar and restaurant.
Unfortunately on our first night, Sunday the size of our portions from the fixed menu were very small. We were offered a discount.
The location. The staff. The breakfast! The design and decoration. ... Almost everything!
The room was cold when we came in (but they sorted it out in five minutes).
Privacy, hot tub & wonderful food!
Free Wifi reception was poor in our cottage
Friendly, helpful staff, great quality food, well stocked bar, good wine selection, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
There was nothing to complain about.
We were upgraded to a lovely room, we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was superb.
My dogs were made most welcome and two dog beds were placed in our room upon our arrival Staff were extremely professional and friendly
Everything are perfect.
Pretty location Lovely decor Cosy snug/lounge Friendly staff Great breakfast Dinner food OK but not fantastic
Dinner and also breakfast took ages once ordered - very slow to come out of the kitchen even though restaurant not busy.
We have stayed at The Swan before and it is a charming place set in the heart of the Cotswolds. We had a free upgrade from booking.com that meant we stayed in one of the best rooms. Great place to stay whatever the weather for a walk. If you're bringing a dog check on booking that you are in a dog friendly room.
We stayed on the night before a wedding and the staff were operating under a fair amount of additional pressure. A few menu choices weren't available. our maître de, Oviedo, was impeccable in his service and a great asset to the hotel but menu options were limited and others on the staff did seem quite out of sorts.
Great location, great food & great service.
Loved the deluxe room, elegantly decorated, comfy bed and lovely Moulton Brown toiletries. Very curtious staff.
Loved the quality and presentation of the food in the restaurant but was disappointed with the quantity for starters and main course Didn't like to wait so long for it.
Decor Furnishings Friendly staff Breakfast Bar Open fire
Bar food was average compared to the rest of the hotel, which was well above average
A warm welcome, helpful staff, super room and good food. We will certainly return.
Nothing to dislike.
The surrounding village is wonderful.
WiFi patchy, if you need it?
Great location and amazing dinner when we stayed.
Such a lovely setting... I felt like a princess in a fairytale. The hotel staff was so sweet and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were YUM.
Parking was difficult until the day tourists left.
The staff were marvellous.
The facilities - one tiny sitting room otherwise had to sit in bar which was fine in the evening but not during the day. The price - absolutely ridiculous!
The staffs are very nice welcome and all facilitates are very fantastic. I thing I will back again if possible.
It's a lovely traditional coaching inn where we were made to feel welcome. It's a place to relax and there are excellent walks nearby.
Everything, from the friendly attentive staff to the lovely meals in the restaurant and high quality toiletries.
