Friendliness of the staff. The food was excellent, and the comfortable surroundings were exceptional. The fact that we had to pay to park in the public car.nearby. |

The efficient friendly lady running the breakfast room. The bar staff and the beer. Room fine, quiet, comfortable. Well placed in a pleasant town. I made a mistake on the booking dates, then changed them again as our itinerary altered but this was no problem for them. Being asked to pay as soon as we arrived and £3.20 a pint for a northerner is a painful experience! |

I really liked the location - right in the centre of the town and I liked the friendliness of the staff. I also liked it that they provided you with a key so that if you were out later than planned you could let yourself in. The room was very hot but luckily there was a fan so we could cool it down. |

Friendly staff, decent menu for evening food, very good location - close to railway station and wwt Food was only ok - didn't quite live up to the menu descriptions. Apple crumble was really not apple crumble - more like a mince pie. At breakfast, portions were a little mean and the toast was burnt. I found the bed quite hard. |

Went for a lovely walk up the river to the Black Rabbit pub. We visited the castle, which was massively disappointing. We met some friends and had a wonderful meal in a local restaurant. It was very noisy. We were awoken by other guests in the corridor at about 2am. Then we could hear the water running and the loos being flushed for the next 20 mins. |

Ideal location - right at the centre of Arundel and a two minute walk to Arundel Castle. Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean, very comfortable and had everything you would expect from a hotel room - tea/coffee/water, trouser press and a very good range of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent - huge choice - in fact more than some larger hotels offer. Would definitely stay there again. Only slight issue was parking. Arundel is a very popular tourist area and the hotel has no car park. We did have to drive around the town a couple of times before we found a parking space. |

The food was excellent, to the extent that we entertained guests to dinner on our last night. The hotel was quiet, and the room, though small, was well appointed & comfortable. A residents' lounge would have been quite nice. |

Easy access to the centre of Arundel - located right at the bottom of the high street so everything is in easy reach- Car parking nearby but you at the rear but you do have to pay for it.. Excellent food and service, friendly staff, nice large bar, good choice of wines.. Nice and peaceful at night. The room we had was rather small and up in the eaves so a bit of a squash but still very pleasant, which was ok for one night but if we had stayed longer I'd have preferred a larger room. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals we had were of a very good standard and well presented. An ideal location for a weekend visit to Arundel or a business trip to the local area. In Room 4 our nights sleep was disturbed by the operation of a ventilation fan that switchen on and off throughout the night. However, the Manageress was aware of the problem and offerred a small discount by way of compensation = excellent customer satisfaction level!! |
