This Hotel is now closed!
room wasnt cleaned on arrival so had to switch rooms on such a busy road traffic is noisy
The receptionist was very helpful as I made a mistake in my booking, which she resolved. The lady also arranged for us to use a shower in another room as our one lacked pressure.
Car parking Food lift Traffic noise Update menu in room
welcoming staff and good value. Knowing a lot of guests needed a very early start brakfast put on early enough for us all.
helpfull staff good food value for money
We chose this hotel as I was having my retirement party at the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium and it was close by. There was a party of ten and we occupied five rooms. All the rooms were comfortable, clean and roomy. The staff were very welcoming even accommodating us with 'nightcaps' in the lounge upon our return from the party. The hearty breakfast the next day was inviting and again the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this.
Overall had a relaxing stay-breakfast good. Lots of options
Décor a little in need of refreshing and noise from main road could disturb some people.
The single mattress was on a wooden block/frame. In need of decoration. Road noise from A52 (ALL night) and unable to open window for fresh air because of the noise. Even at £55 it was too much. Food overpriced. Desk staff helpful.
Friendly and helpful staff and close to Trent Bridge cricket ground.
The steady rumble of traffic passing by.
Needs renovation. Noisy! Carpets/furniture dowdy.
Lovely hotel, and really helpful staff. It is really convenient for Football and Cricket grounds and West Bridgeford restaurants. Sadly it is closing in 2 weeks time.
Friendly warm welcome at reception. Pleasant atmosphere in lounge bar sound advice for local area. Room very clean & comfortable. One of the best presented full English I've had!!!!
Road noise with window open but diminished with double glazing shut.
The staff were excellent. The atmosphere was good. The food was nice enough and seemed good value for money.
The room we stayed in was tired looking the carpet was very stained and the room was very hot and had no fan. Luckily we took our own. We could not leave the windows open as we were on the front of the road which was busy with constant traffic. However, the double glazing was excellent with the windows closed.
The breakfast was good, although not really enough for a man. The staff member on the reception and serving breakfast was very friendly.
The room left a lot to be desired. We stayed in a twin as no doubles were available. The walls had dirty marks all over them. The bathroom tiles had black mould in them although the bath, toilet and sink were clean. There were stains on the carpet. A hole in the wardrobe door and in one of the walls. The wall around the sockets were very messy. Also no net curtains up at the window which meant the house opposite could see straight into out room. It was also very noisy early in the morning; I think we may have been above the kitchen and you could hear every movement from the room above!!
Nice hotel, quiet area, clean and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast
Room was very very warm
Room was tired
Friendly, helpful staff.
Healthy options on menu very limited and wi fi didn't work, despite helpful staff.
Easy access to where we wanted to be.Friendly staff and helpful.
Close to Blenheim Palace. Excellent breakfast particularly as we had an early start. Very quiet and comfortable.
Poor mobile reception Tricky to find entrance - needs a more obvious sign.
Size of room. comfortable beds.
Noise from extractor fans in other peoples rooms ( at least I think that was what it was)
excellent venue, friendly staff, very clean, good quality plentiful breakfast
Welcoming and very helpful staff and a good atmosphere.
Very ordinary hotel. Rooms extremely noises with narrow corridors. Would definately not recommend this hotel to other travellers.
