The hotel is very nice - good location. Good breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Leisure facilities a bonus. Many areas of the hotel were uncomforably hot - ie the corridors, the bedroom and dining room.

We stayed there as we got married near by. The Hotel was in a great location, and well run. Our room was clean and bright and we would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break by the sea and close to the city centre for some great shopping.

Excellent base for a holiday to swansea, very clean and the staff were more than helpful This is not a complaint but there was only a very small work station serving the breakfast meal which was not adequate and resulted in long queues, the lady chef though was remarkable.

Extremly friendly staff, good kitchen, very confortable bed, cleanliness. The water was treated somehow and had very bad taste. It would be nice to have a bottle of filtered water in the room, or at least not to have the mini bar empty.

Efficient & extremely pleasant staff. Very comfortable room (1st floor king room '102') Bar prices are on the 'high-side' Having stayed at numerous hotels through business & pleaseure, all over the world, I would say that considering a reduction in the beverage prices should be considered.

Very comfortable room with attractive decor. The weather was cold and wet during our stay so we very much appreciated that the entire hotel including the rooms were warm and comfortable. Lounge/bar area was pleasant to relax in. A good choice of cooked food at breakfast. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Although we were not affected by this issue as we were usually up fairly early, we did notice that people getting up for late breakfasts had to queue some time for a vacant table (which would have annoyed us). Our only personal complaint was the excessive amount charged for internet connection.

Arriving on the ferry from Fishguard,the Marriott is always our overnight stop on the way to and from our visits to the uk from our home in Ireland. On this occasion (3 Jan) we would particularly wish to commend the manager and the kitchen staff for providing us with an excellent cooked breakfast even though the buffet was not operating due to so few guests in residence. The location in the marina is wonderful and right next to the sea aswell. The hotel has a lovely bar area and restaurant and also a swimming pool and mini gym. A special mention should go to the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I would mention is the breakfast. The choice of items on offer at breakfast time was not great. The cooked breakfast was fine though they didn't have any lava bread even though it was mentioned on the menu next to the serving hatch. The continental side had only a few things ...one cheese type only and two meats and few salad items. I thought that was a bit bad really.
