Nice room, well appointed The price! £240 without breakfast was a bit steep. On arrival we also had to pay £5 per day in the Hotel car Park which we weren't made aware of.

Location for the town was ok. The facility looked 'dated' and could do with a revamp. Out of the main buliding, the corridors reminded me of an old peoples home set up. I had trouble with my door card deactivating everyday, only on my exit, did a memeber of staff think it could be the batteries in the door mechanism itself, very frustrating when each occassion they thought it was me putting the door card next to my mobile!

Excellent location for the town and the theatre. Friendly helpful staff, good beers and atmosphere in the hotel bar. Pleasant leisure facilities in the sister hotel opposite. the hotel allows dogs and we had one yapping away in the room down the corridor from us.Probably an isolated incident but still very irritating.

Location Different from its description. Very standard hotel (3 stars, no more). Small rooms, very basically equipped. Internet stopped working suddenly, nobody knew why.

To say that a Premier Inn costs £60 a night and this hotel was double, yet the quality was far less than that of a Premier Inn and I would not stay there again.

We stayed at the Swan's Nest, a last minute booking and had a thoroughly nice time. Some of the rooms are a little older and due for modernising, for example our room didn't have internet, however they were clean, very comfortable and the staff were lovely. Fantastic showers!

This hotel provides excellent value for money when you book last minute at only £62.00 for a twin room - no breakfast - but great value for money. Its location is perfect for the RSC and it is very cleanly with good basic facilities in the rooms. Corridors are a little shabby but the pub was great - and very popular with locals as well. Good hotel for a short break in Stratford

I liked its central location close to the theatre and town centre. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The attractive Bistrot offered excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Our room was far too hot at night and was cold during the day. The central heating was noisy and the control did not work.

There was nothing to dislike at all.

The close approximation to the town and theatre. We felt that the hotel looked slightly in need of a redecoration, especially the window frames and the corridor carpet's and main reception area looked tired.

We were extremely impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the man in charge when we booked into the hotel on Saturday 25th February. His attitude deserves a very special mention, and because of him we are more than likely to visit again. We were also impressed by the quality of both the staff and food in the Bistro restaurant

Cheking into the Hotel took almost 30 minutes, only one person dealing with arrivals whilst at the same time dealing with a complaint - not a good first impression

Chose this hotel as we had booked tickets for the rsc theatre and it was within easy walking distance. Able to use the swimming pool at adjacent hotel. Liked fridge in bedroom. Selection of prepared fruit at breakfast was varied and good. Brand "x" sausages for cooked breakfast

The room. The evening meal. Superb! The closeness of the Theatre. The breakfast, not to the evening meal standard. The mattress was very poor. The confusion "Do you, Don't you" pay in the car park when first arriving.

Its a basic low cost hotel in a good location so you have to judge based on that criteria so value for money it was, luxury it was not, but matched expectations. only gripe was that the telly did'nt work. as above telly did'nt work
