for me it was simply a place to stay before getting the ferry, so its position close to the port was the important thing. The owner was friendly and helpful |

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Once we arrived having driven a long way were able to get a nice relaxing drink in the bar. There was plenty of space in the car park for the car and caravan - which was great and very easy to get to Dover Ferry Terminal the following morning. The breakfast was also a great start to a long day driving. |

Restaurant was especially good and everything else was "pleasant". Overall it was good but attention to detail could be better: small things like a light bulb which is out and a toilet lid that is loose are easy to fix but were not in our room. We booked breakfast for 7am and that was forgotten but a very helpful lady (don't know name but was her birthday) was brilliant giving us an impromptu breakfast shortly after she arrived at the hotel for work.. |

lovely surroundings with friendly staff and clean, comfortable room. Homely feel. breakfast stops at 9am. Bathroom fixtures a little dated. |

Efficient and friendly service despite our booking late! Room was shabby, peeling wallpaper etc, toilet only worked intermittantly. |

We liked staff, we felt welcomed. Very nice and quiet place. We had a very good sleep and rest. We liked everything. Just TV should be moved from wardrobe to lower level, it was very difficult to watch it. |
