In a gorgeous location with fab views. Rooms were excellent value for money and they are dog friendly so out pug could enjoy the stay to. Steak and ale pie in the evening was delicious, breakfast was alright, we have eaten nicer in the lakes but it was big enough to keep us going for a days walking. Great walks on the door step and close to Keswick for a selection of pubs and shops. Would stay again soon :)
Everything. Scenery was majestic, and the accommodation was perfect. Very friendly staff who were happy to assist with anything I wanted. Would love to return sometime.
When it was time to leave...
cracking views and comfortable lodgings. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful.
There wasn't any clue from the road as to the whereabouts of the Inn. Maybe a sign would be good -
Food, lovely room and fabulous views

Many walks straight from the door Generally helpful staff Good breakfast Very quiet location
Average food to continue having on multiple nights
For the amount we paid, the views and location were excellent. The staff were really friendly and showed us to our room and the facilities. Plenty of space for parking, with a great outdoor eating / drinking area with a superb view. A short walk from Hawes End jetty, part of Derwent Water. Breakfast was standard cereal, yoghurts, toast, hot drinks, orangw juice and a cooked breakfast to follow. It really set you up for the day. Overall it was a great stay.
If you are despirate for internet the WiFi isn't that great.
Everything was great and spot on. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Couldn't fault the inn or the staff
Bed was a little squeaky
Scenery was amazin, staff friendly and welcoming. Food out of this world.

the room was very hot, mainly because the weather.
Our room with attached bathroom was all we could have wanted. Staff were really very helpful. The dinner we had there was very good. The location in the countryside was very quiet, and very close to great Lake District walks.
Location map would be helpful, we took a long time to find the Inn. Selling an OS map in the Inn would have helped us. Television signal was very poor, making us unable to watch the news as we went to bed.

The tranquility and the peace, what a beautiful location and lovely oldie worlde pub!
The fact that they had no beer or lager left on the Monday after they had held a music festival over the last weekend!
Countryside quiet. Scenery.
Too far from Keswick on narrow roads. Need more plugs to charge electonics. One isn't enough.
