The staffnis very friendly and the location is very good
Rooms are old, narrow, cold and filthy. The window was broke and taped also the shower door
location was perfect for my needs. breakfast was good. everything i needed in my room.
Bed. Was very comfortable and clean sheets
Very noisy next to a busy road .could do with a deep clean .staff was very nice but wouldn't stay again .
Was passably convenient to King's Cross
Bathroom very narrow and shower soaked everywhere, slow to dry. Smoke alarm went off boiling kettle Wi-fi didn't work on top floor
The free Wifi
- Hair in the bed - Puke on the floor - Very small room, no closet - breakfast minimal - noisy (inside and outside) - no seperation between toilet and shower - staff no willing to clean puke on the door
leaving - left early
lost wrist watch (missing from hotel bedroom) was met with 'not our problem from staff' However bed bugs very helpful and could be found everywhere looking for it
- Fast WiFi - Bed - Toilet * Tip: There is a restaurant in the corner of the street (opposite side to King's Cross) that sells really good chicken wings for a really low price :D
I was a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading the reviews but I am glad we did. 11 of us all together. The location was close by king cross station which was ideal for us, the price was average but included breakfast which was a bonus. Breakfast was a basic continental but catered for everyone. Staff very friendley and helpful. Rooms were clean and freshly made each day that we stayed.
Only off putting thing was corridors. Carpet hanging off steps and could do with a good Hoover. Also I would say not a very disabled friendley hotel. But apart from that all was good.
It smelled had no feel of hotel rather like a run down hostel
Politeness of staff member and cleanliness of the room.
The WiFi was not very good.
Every think was okay thanks.
location staff free wifi
situated in a very noisy street so dont expect to sleep well !! the furniture is dated bad odor
after initial room problems staff very helpful and professional.
The first room we were given had a lifted metal strip between bathroom and bedroom, pointed out to reception as unable to fix at that time arranged for us to move to another room, this room had been refitted out and was far superior to original room.
ease of location and friendly staff
prison like room and stains on the carpet..enough said
Location. Free WiFi.
Words cannot describe the depths of disappointment. Room was tiny and looked clean just on the surface, but upon inspection I have realised that it has not been properly cleaned for years . The bed was terrible, the worst thing of all is that I'm still itching from what I am sure were bed bugs or some kind of other mites, who kept me awake for 4 nights, when I was able to transfer to another, more bearable room (where TV did not work, but at least I was able to get some sleep). I wanted to move, but they charged the price upon my arrival. I will strongly recommend you to stay away from this hotel, if you want to have some sleep and be functional the next day. Terrible experience.
The warm welcome. The hotel is basic, but clean and comfortable. It met all our needs for our one night stay, including a very competitive rate. Do not feel this hotel merits the poor reviews I read prior to booking. I took a friend's recommendation and am glad we stayed there.
Convenient for Kings Cross with buses and tube
Reasonably sized room, facilities are just what you need for a stop-over in London, (we stayed one night). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
Good location and value for money if you want somewhere just to lay your head....staff were also very helpful
Friendly staff at reception and nice bathroom
Rooms are very basic facilities wise and needs redecorating
Everything was nice.
There was no chair in the room (single) The electric kettle was not clean Poor thermal and acoustic isolation of the window ( it was cold)
I have stayed in many many budget hotels in London, and this was by far the best. Staff were friendly, laid back and very helpful, room was small (London) but scrupulously clean, everything worked, great place for the price.
I didn't realise there was a complimentary breakfast in the room rate and consequently ate too many croissants.
