Very convenient location

Damp room (smelly), no shaver-point, windows in very poor state of maintenance (hence considerable noise from street) Other London hotels offer better quality for the same money

the bathroom was modern and clean

staff never afforded a smile rooms of the street front very noisy

Bedroom was very clean and modern. In Complete contrast to the rest of the hotels facilities.

Breakfast room and corridors cramped and could do with a complete revamp. Reception area very depressng.

Staff were really nice. Good location next to train station.

Bathroom was dirty. Room was basic at best.

I chose it as somewhere to accommodate three of us (mother, son, daughter in law) within walking distance of St Pancras International Railway station for a two night stay. It was clean, the beds acceptable and breakfast provided. It suited our needs

for a non smoking hotel, obviously people smoked in the reception area at times - it stunk on occasions. We had a downstairs room, but if the window was opened, and the hot water turned on, we got a strong smell of gas

We were moving from Paris and back and a convenient location to St pancras station

The room was not well acoustically insulated and can hear people walking above our room

Noisy not very clean and tiny Really really basic not two star more like one at best .

Very close to Kings Cross. Room clean, comfortable. Looks scary for lone female traveller---but is not. Price is right.

Entry way and halls dirty, worn out. Tv not working. Looks scary at the entry--they could easily clean it up and give a very different vibe.

It's a very clean hotel and the staff is nice. It's very close to king cross station, I liked the hotel very much and would definitely return!

It's a bit small but for our purpose of visit it was terrific.

Room extremely basic, old, outdated, smell of smoke in lobby. Only use if no alternative at same price.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was cleaned to the highest standards every day. I spent a total of 19 nights there which was convenient to all surrounding transportation. For tourist and travelers, it is strategically located to all the major attractions of the Capitol.

Cheap and very clean. Good location

- Staff was very friendly - Room was very clean and brand new - There was coffee and water facilities in the room - Bathroom was small but cozy - Hotel is very close to King's Cross station - Breakfast was very well arranged and very rich

- Main lobby and corridors would just need to be re-painted or refreshed but the place is still clean.

The only thing a wasn't happy about. The tv in the room wasn't working. Had no signal. Not good when you have a child staying. They said it was due to the rain. But that ain't good enough. That might stop me booking The Swinton hotel again

The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of the British Museum and within easy reach of several theatres. Have already recommended it to a work colleague.

Lack of a table and chair in the room and the carpet was a bit shabby.

The room was really small but it was cleaning and the breakfast was nice and enough to start the day. The ubication really good and the bars surrondings the hotel was the best part. I repeat surely.

it is a mixture of ancient inn and cleanness , also we feel respectful maner of staff , delicious breakfast . finally although it was one night , but was memorable .

It is very reasonably priced so there is no expectation of luxury. It is close to the place I need to be over the weekend The girls in the breakfast room are pleasant and helpful

The reception staff are not friendly so not a good introduction to the hotel. They are obviously bored and disinterested in the guests. The room I was in had an area on the wall where a hole had obviously been filled in with plaster but this had not been painted so the room did not look cared for.

There could be more storage space in the bathroom for the toiletries.
