If you are a non-smoker, watch out - even though you may think you have booked a non-smoking room, they do not guarantee you get one. I came in late at night and found out that my reservation small print included the wording preferred non-smoking" and I had to argue my way into a non-smoking room. The rooms need refurbishment and the hot-cold water is still an issue - try some other other, you will probably do better. |

Some of the furniture looked nice. nice chandelier THe hotel is in an awful location, lacking easy access for taxis. The room was noisey (floorboards) and hot due to massive radiators. no air con. THe bed was two singles pushed together, and incredibly uncomfortable. Lastly the 'duvet' was a couple of blankets. |

Proximity to underground. Nice public lounge. Some of the furniture in my room was uncomfortable or damaged. Staff were not particularly friendly |

It was quiet and calm for a city hotel. It was close to bus and tube stations breakfast lacked good-fresh bread and croissants and quality coffee |

The public room next to reception is quite nice and the location of the hotel was very concenient--only blocks from our daughter's home. The bed was awful! It was too small, but we could accept that (my husband is 6'4"). What we did not like at all was the poor quality of the mattress, which was just miserable. |

It's very close to the tube! The staff were friendly. The room was okay but not very clean. The breakfast room was not too cosy. |

Everything was fine, the hotel is convenientely located very near to a tube station. We didn't have any problems at all. Our room was at ground/basement level, downstairs from the reception. This was not such a big problem, but a room upstairs would have been better. |

The area of the twin room was really big, considering the location and the price paid. |

Really handy for Swiss Cottage tube (Jubilee Line). Free wifi - a big bonus in London. Staff very helpful.Clean and reasonble size room with new en-suite. On a side street so its not too noisy at night. As others have said, hotel is looking a little tired. Rooms very warm (No Aircon/Fan so slept with windows open) |

I was made to feel welcome, from arrival to departure. Room was spotless and well furnished. Full stock of free tea, coffee and hot chocolate added to the welcome, I will definitely use this hotel again. |

Location Rooms are really too old, towels and bedding not enough clean. We were at the upper floor first nights (under roof - hot like a greenhouse - bathroom always smell bad - water was only hot available - no ways to get it cold - ). When asked for a change, receptionist told me to come back to him next day within 11 o' clock to ask again. The could have taken a note instead asking me to come back for the same question. Anyway They are not customer oriented as requested nowadays |
