In the past I have travelled to England twice a year, always staying in the London area. Haven't done this for about 7 years. I could never seem to get what I considered to be a good meal. The food at Swynford Paddocks was the best part of the trip. It was outstanding. The service was excellent, great variety and every meal was as good a meal I have had anywhere I have ever travelled. This was a super spot to spend some time and I would visit again in a heart beat. |

the hotel was charming and rustically stylish, the staff excellent and the food very high concept. I was delighted to get wifi in my room amongst all the four posters and sunken baths! the technology was a bit poor, very old school hairdryer and poor quality analogue TV |

Both of us being interested in horse racing the naming and decoration of the rooms is very interesting and the rooms are all different unlike most similarly priced hotels. |

The surrounding countryside. No, but the hotel is getting somewhat "tired". I am sure it is an ideal setting for weddings and will be well support for race meetings. |

We only stayed overnight after a day at Newmarket races. We didn't have dinner but breakfast was made to order and well cooked and the staff were friendly and efficient. |

The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were very large and clean. Some friends booked at the same hotel and had an extremely large double bed in their room whereas my room had an extremely small one. More like a 1.5 size bed which was a little dissapointing. |

The room was excellent, the food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful and it is a very nice building. The noisy cockerel! We stayed two nights and whilst everything was great for the first 24hours, come Sunday evening and Monday morning, theystarted to run out of food items; no white bread on Monday morning! On Sunday evening my portion of smoked salmon was smaller than the previous evening and on Monday morning I overheard the waitress saying there was no smoked salmon. Mushrooms ran out too. They cater for wedding parties and although it isn't the hotel's fault, the guests were very noisy when they left in the early hours. Our room was above the kitchen which meant late night noise and the smell of cooking food in the room. No leisure facilities. |

fantastic building and location, the room was good and the breakfast was great, hotel was very helpful as we had to leave early. we could not find any photos of rooms, which was unhelpful, as we wanted to see what we were paying for especailly different prices for the standard rooms, we might have paid more if we could have seen or been clearly told what the diffrence was. |

The four poster bed and the bedroom decor Breakfast should have been ready at 8am but at 8:30 staff were still putting it out. The outside of the building needs updating. There are several simple repairs needed. The bathrrom smelt musty. |
