Quiet at this time of year, (February) gets very busy in summer.
We found a good Indian restaurant, Spice Safai, only very small, but the food was very good.
Parking charges during the day are a bit high, not very welcoming for visitors, but they have you over a barrel!
The castle dominates the town and is quite something. We didn't visit it perhaps next time.
Lots of quirky shops etc.

Conwy is a beautiful medieval walled town and is a World Heritage Site. Conwy Castle is stunning and greets you as you drive over the bridge into Conwy, looking even more stunning when it is lit up at night. Plas Mawr can be found in the centre of the town. Also, a popular 1920's public house called The Albion. Fishing boats line the pretty quay, where you will also find the Smallest House and The Liverpool Arms, with a backdrop of Conwy Mountain. Conwy marina is just around the corner with a lovely pub/restaurant, The Mulberry, a stones throw from the golf club. Lots of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Great place to see in one go.
Great place to see in one go. The castle is nicely preserved and you have some excellent views from the top. The history is interesting as well. The city center is nice and walkable - lots of little shops to find gems in. Good restaurants/bistros as well. The marina is a good place to watch the birds, the crabs and the ships while eating some icecream!
Don't go in by car! If you come by car, stop at the parking outside of the city walls and walk in, otherwise, it can be difficult to find parking. Also, if you enjoy walking but a calm atmosphere, go earlier in the morning. It gets a little cramped with tourists by lunch.
Favorite place - a tiny shop selling welsh cheese 1 street over from the castle.

Lovely little town with great castle and interesting walk round the city walls. Plenty of places to eat (but try to book if at the weekend as we found it difficult on Saturday, and ended up with a take away!) Nice walk along the river. Interesting shops. Good base for visiting Lladudno and Snowdonia.
The location was perfect to explore the town, we walked the walls and gazed down at the lovely houses.
The hotel exceeded expectations in every department. Our room was spacious, the rain shower was fantastic, there were ample soft fluffy towels. The meals were delicious, the full Welsh breakfast in particular was outstanding. The staff were a delight, friendly and helpful. We can’t praise this hotel enough.
Loved the experience at Hilton 🙂nearly cancelled after reading reviews! So glad we didn't as the hotel was great very clean and modern . Good shower bedding ,perfect for our 14 year old who loved the table tennis and pool which were free .

Staff were lovely and friendly 😊
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. B&B is beautiful, vomfort at its best. Central to all areas. Places to heat were Erskine and Castle Hotel...butbe warned book a table in advance as extremely busy, quality if food exceptional. Breakfast in the B&B excellent. Loved out stay and travelled out to Llandudno to the nature reserve a sight to see on a sunny day. Thank you will be back.
The friendliness of Graham and Delyth. The location, The food, the Breakfast, the welcome. Such a delightful stay here. Close and central to many attractions, close to Conwy, Llandudno. Brilliant local and helpful knowledge and suggestions on places to visit. by Graham and Delyth. Comfortable room everything you need. Very quiet in the countryside. We had a pleasant weekend here.
A beautifully converted chapel with all the facilities. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Good breakfast and we also enjoyed our evening meals at the hotel just across the road. Loved the use of a most comfortable lounge and the added bonus of a car park in this very touristy little town. Highly recommended
Beautifully restored and furnished. Friendly, gracious owners and staff. Stay was the final 3 nights of 8 day visit Best breakfasts of our trip, bedding fabulous. All the details, 100% hosting every step of the way. Proximity to restaurants, Conwy, gardens, Snowdonia, slate mines. Truly great spot..
The guesthouse was very comfortable and the room was well equipped. It's only a 5 minute walk into Conwy centre so is a great base to access the lively town centre.
Jenny's cooked breakfast is probably the best in Wales and it was a pleasure to chat with Rebecca in the mornings.
The accomodation here is very clean, child friendly, lots of facilities, parking in front of the house, town centre and the castle are very close. We really enjoyed our stay there and we recommend for every one to stay here.
Also, the host was absolutely brilliant.
We had a lovely stay at this fantastic hotel recently reopened. The facilities are excellent and the staff very friendly and service minded. The location is also excellent to explore Snowdonia and the coastline of northern Wales. We would love to come back
The welcome was exceptional, the service excellent. I have always loved Conway since childhood holidays and to stay in the Castle Hotel right in the centre was perfect for a short stopover on the way back from the ferry from Ireland.
Food was excellent, breakfast was brilliant, could not eat it all, and I have a large appetite, staff so friendly and helpful, the views from the hotel brill a perfect place as a base to go around North Wales will be going again 👍
Lovely friendly service, the room and bed were very comfy. Tasty breakfast options cooked to order each morning. A nice quiet location, set back from the road, and just a short walk from Conwy town walls.
The hotel is centrally located. Close to the rail station and across the street from the castle. Perfect! The room was spacious and the "bagged" breakfast delivered to our door was also perfect.
The staff were very excellent very warm and greeted us with smile and always at hand if we had any queries the hotel has beautiful scenery surrounding it also beautiful location .
The hotel is lovely and the view at the rear overlooking the estuary, sea, mountains and Conway Castle is stunning. Also at the rear is a fantastic outside dining/drinking area.
Location is fabulous. We just loved the decor. The room delivered continental breakfast was a delight. Just love Conwy and will stay here next time we are in town.
