The guest house was reasonably clean and the staff were pleasant, very close to the town.

A little run down and the mattress needed replacing so uncomfortable nights sleep.

The staff were welcoming & friendly. The room we were given was perfect for what we needed & I thought it was very cute. The bathroom was nicely spaced. The bed was ridiculously comfy & had nice furnishings. The tea cups provided were amazingly cute too, I do love a nice cup & saucer. The breakfast, though early, was very nice. A continental breakfast with cereal & fruit to help yourself. Plus, toast & egg was offered. I chose the scrambled egg & it was lovely. Fantastic location for those unfamiliar with Plymouth as it is opposite the train station & very short walk to the city center.

Wifi signal wasn't brilliant, but we were warned of that on arrival & it was free so really didn't mind all that much.

    good location

not very friendly, not communicative. We were asked to pay immidiately on arrival before beeing shown the room. In the small lobby there is a very strange lamp with black feathers, I had never seen anything like it, I was aesthetically challanged.

Location was ok, room clean very old fashioned furniture. Only plastic cups and £1.00 liquid soap. !!!

The smell of the guest house as soon as the door opened. Musty smell not fresh and very dark inside . Not at all friendly. No hello asked straight away for the money. Very very poor breakfast . Served from 8.00am to 8.30 am . Only available fried egg on toast one slice or scrambled egg on toast one slice.Cereal in plastic tubs, wroten fruit banana, apple,.Served with one croissant not offered anything else. Not even extra tea or coffee. The bathroom with Liquid soap still in original container marked with the price if £1.00 nasty smell . would. Not Recommend . In helpfull when leaving we asked if we could leave our luggage for 1 hour as our train was at 12 noon No we had to be out of the room for 10.00am . When we handed the key back no receipt was given nor even a thank you . Very disappointed indeed.

    Cheap at £40 a night.

Fawlty Towers atmosphere, no check-in after 9pm, no breakfast before 8am, pervasive smell of floral air freshener, small bare room, not en-suite.

hospitality excellent. Personal care at breakfast very welcome. Thanks! Excellent 3G signal. Excellent wi-fi connection. Room plain but very clean.

"Slow-close" door hinge protruding 6 inches from door at eye level. No cover or warning sign. Had to cover with a hat to avoid walking into it. Also given a "family" room with a low window that opened outwards with no limiters or safety barrier. This window also had a seat on the window ledge itself. As we were on the second floor I consider this to be somewhat dangerous, especially in a room advertised as suitable for families. Am forwarding details and photos to health and safety. Finally, parking in this location will be an issue at the height of the season.

Very friendly. Clean and tidy. Not continental breakfast as stated, more of economy breakfast. A little out dated in decor and outside if the building and sign requires attention.

As I was my first time at a b&b ,I will find difficult to give a higher rating.but overall, staffs were friendly but not something I will use in the future, I prefer hotels to be honest.bit someone who is looking for something traditional, it is ideal.

Great location for trains and to the city shops. The room was an adequate size and easy access up the staircase.

The check in time was 4pm.most places are 2 pm that l have stayed at. The breafast period to be present for breakfast was also very short , 1/2 hr .if you weren't there by 8.30 no breakfast

The personal are really nice and polite.

The clean wasn't really good on toilet and the bed sheets. On the bathroom wasn't free stuff like gel or shampoo. The room could be cold on the first part of the night.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and considerate. We arrived at the guest house early and it has been a long and tiring 14 hours flight from Malaysia. Luckily they allowed early check. They are willing to give us advices and where to go in Plymouth. Everything was just fantastic.

I like everything. There's nothing not to 'don't like'.
