The proprieters went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was billed as 'continental' but was better than that, with the best scrambled egg I've had in a while. Walking distance of the city centre, The Hoe, Barbican, etc.

Shower ran hot, cold, hot unpredictably. Bed very hard, pillows wafer thin, old CRT-TV.

Quietness.

No facilities like microwave oven and fridge provided. I was not served with sugar.

out dated things are starting to fall apart the attic rooms are pokey , no ensuite toilets, breakfast neither continental as described or english poor no quality to the food , in need of refurbishment

although breakfast was very good it was only served for half hour so it felt a bit rushed, tea was weak, only 1 tea bag in pot

my daughter and i have stayed there 3 times and the staff are very friendly we will be going back there.

Close to train station and church. Hospitality of owners. Able to pick up luggage after check out time.

The shower was terrible, I had to take a shower at my friends, plus all we got was eggs on toast in the morning, for £55 for the night i was expecting a full english, and a working shower! I was not impressed.

The staff was very accommodating: they accepted us late at night and prepared breakfast earlier especially for us. Thanks a lot. The place is very close to railway station.

Close to the train station. Clean and quite good looking. The bathroom was great.

the ground floor is moisturous, and lacking of ventilation system in toilet.Also the toilet is too small. Early check- in is not permitted.

Convenient location close to the train station and 10 mins walk to the centre.

Bed was really uncomfortable. No toiletries in bathroom, not even soap. Shower had no pressure and temperature of the trickling water went from cold to boiling every 20 seconds or so. Service was just ok but not very friendly or helpful. All in all not a pleasant stay.

Reasonable breakfast with good service. Good location. Best value for money we could find in the area. (We needed overnight accomodation at short notice).

Room and beds were rather run down. Wifi was narrow (rather than broad) band. Poor performance.

Homey, friendly and relaxed

Me and my boyfriend and my best friend stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay - great location 5 mins walk from the station! Great value for money! Thank you !

Breakfast on a Saturday was only 08:00 to 08:30. No toilet in your room, was told about shower but not toilet

The quest house is very near to the town centre,the railway station.City Centre,tourist points are all within walking distance.the services were good.the breakfast provided was good.I would like to book this guest house again when I visit my daughter who is studying in Plymouth University.

Really close to the univeristy and only a fifteen minute walk to the Barbican.

Some of the springs had gone on the bed we were sleeping on.
