Location easy for Bangor far enough away. Brilliant sunrise on journey to Bangor. Friendly staff
Breakfast start 7.30 I needed to be away earlier and no alternative was offered.
Well situated, close to the A55 and the Circuit at Ty Croes
Location to ferry port
Quiet room and comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of parking. Good food. Easy to find.
Neither of us could think of anything we didn't like!
We only stayed for one night as we were just having an end of Summer break and staying at Tafarn Y Rhos was just perfect for us.
Nothing bad to say as it was just as we expected
Ideal for overnight stop near A55 or while visiting friends. Clean & friendly, It provides all that's required without frills.
Nothing really - but it is a pub restaurant, no quiet lounge. But wasn't important to us.
Fantastic Shower best ever. Good Breakfast. Wasn't there for Dinner
Stairs to first floor quite steep.
Friendly people, location.
Wifi was very hit and miss.
It was very close to the race track where we going visiting over a long week end. the accommodation was very good and we enjoyed our stay, the food in the bar was superb we made the mistake on our 1st night of trying to find a good restaurant !!!.we were already at a great place. cheers
Very good breakfast.
Good central location to use as a base for exploring the island.
Limited choice at breakfast. Great if you love a full English, limited if you don't..
Happy atmosphere at breakfast. Our second visit and will book again.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful but one or two were quite rude and seemed to find it a chore to serve us.
The breakfast was freshly cooked and was very satisfying.
We knew the room only had a Velux roof window and was fine for our short stay. Would find it difficult to cope with a longer time but the description is clear so visitors would know what they were booking.
The location was lovely in the middle of the countryside. Room was ok, no frills but with essentials. Good breakfast!
This hotel was basically rooms over a pub, we stayed Friday night and the noise was unbearable! Loud music played so my children could not get to sleep. In the end at 10.20 had to get out of bed and go to the bar and complain. The manager did apologise the day after when i told him. I would not advise young families stay here.
Food was great and a wide choice on the menu, happy to stay there again.
Shower bit small as aim a big boy
Very handy location for travelling over to Ireland from Holyhead. Good food and reasonable prices. Very comfy bed and clean room. Lovely cooked breakfast.

The quality and price of the food
It was a good central location to all of Anglesy, nice clean room, quiet with no disturbances through the night (we stayed on a friday and saturday). Good service with friendly staff. Good parking facilities. What we received for breakfast was nice.
The only thing that I did not like was there was no choice of cereals for breakfast we were just given a glass of orange juice wether we wanted it or not. after the cooked meal of only 1 rasher of bacon , 1 sausage 1egg half a tomatoe mushrooms beans and black pudding ( which we asked not to have on the second morning ) it was cooked nice but then there was no toast available afterwards. also no pot of tea or coffee so had to ask if you wanted more.
The staff were lovely and it was convenient for Anglesey Showground. Excellent beds and amazingly good nights sleep.
The budget twin room, still costing £65 for the night only had a Velux roof window, no other outside window, although there was a window, (locked) that looked into another room. The first thought was how did you get out in case of a fire and there were no instructions! Luckily we didn't have a fire. Large en suite but tiny shower. Served its purpose but wouldn't book again.
the help of the staff quality of food unfortunately I had to cut short our stay due to illness but we would return if I get to full health again.
easy going/good quality
