The location is excellent although I wouldn't reccomend this hotel for anybody with mobility issues as there are some steep roads up to the high street and royal mile. The hotel is very modern, IPod Dock with speakers in the bedroom and bathroom. The double shower is a bonus. The bar next door is handy, although we stayed mid week it was lively enough at night with the football on. I'd definitely stay here again.
Stayed various times now, always try and stay here when visiting Edinburgh.
Location was great Proximity to all the attractions, good restaurants and pubs was also great! Nice staff, really helpful. Clean room Plenty of refreshments, tea, coffee, water and even tunnocks tea cakes each day in the room. The Three sisters pub had great food and lively atmosphere. We stayed in room 401 which was on the quiet side!
This hotel is so modern and querky lovely little touches
Everything was brilliant was just impressed with the whole service from the moment I walked into the room
The staff was terrific, very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and modern. Just a short walk to Grass Market area. Big beer garden and pub attached to the hotel. Was surprised to find it was a college bar!
We were not able to control the temperature of the room and it was a little too warm for us.
Incredibly central location Wonderfully helpful staff Funky yet warm decor Great breakfast Shares courtyard with fantastic pub and yet you will be able to sleep completely soundly. We had a romantic night that was quiet and a totally epic night out and the hotel was perfect for both Lovely shower and toiletries You get loads of bang for your buck
Location is spot on, Very kind staff Lots of quirks and little touches of luxury Spacious room Unbelievably good shower
There's a pub right next door (which is actually rather nice), and it gets pretty noisy on the weekends, especially if there's a football game on. I managed to sleep just fine, but if you're a light sleeper, it might be an issue.
The staff was very kind and helpfull. Modern spaces and great details everywhere.
Lovely fresh experience. Very well situated in the centre of town. Excellent breakfast and good value for money.
Room 214 is above the extractor.
Everything, especially the quirky design features of the Hotel.
Brill place to stay if your younger you will love it, great pub, great food , great buzz about it and that was a Monday night! I can imagine it would be busy, fun place to stay at weekend, location was ok, bedroom fab, different, funky very comfortable, fab shower
Nothing ☺️ Would def suggest having a stay.
Book a room at the back or also drink till 3am
The staff were brilliant.. obliging at all times.. location also outstanding..
Comphy beds. Clean
Located in a noisy, dirty bar that caters to young college age. Breakfast is served in the bar-terrible! All attractions are up a giant hill that takes forever to walk. Air conditioning is controlled by front desk. Wifi goes out about 9:30 at night.
The location is perfect. The room is spacious. The shower is perfect!
We could really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design of this hotel to make you welcome and have a great stay. The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Stay Central lives to its name being in a great spot for exploring Edinburgh. We came for a romantic weekend and had a perfect weekend. The hotel is connected to a pub (the three Sisters) which was great for a late drink after we came back . We would recommend this hotel and would love to come back.
Another night's stay would have been great...
Very nice updated room and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Don't let the bar attached scare you, it did not affect the quality of the room or stay in any way.
A bit off the beaten path, close to everything once you figure your way around. It's on a lower level street so don't trust GPS.
Joky labels on everything (the lift was 'Super fast vertical transport', rooms were labelled 'Snooze Cruise' etc), feeling of being in an annexe to a massive student bar
Rooms modern and very clean . Staff very friendly. Location great and very lively bar joined on ... Perfect
The hotel is unusual! Rooms have sound system you can use your ıphone and you can charge your phone and listen to your favourite music in your room. By the way perfect location
Rooms are very cold! I got cold and ı was sick
Lovely staff and great location although the pub really put me off at first but building is surprisingly very quiet. The hipster notes and sayings are pretty tacky and unnecessary. Otherwise, a very comfortable place to stay.
Location Staff really friendly and helpful
Nothing worth mentioning
Bed was great! Shower head was ultra trendy! Pillows were perfect. Breakfast super. Staff very friendly and polite.
Music was too loud on Saturday night but other nights it was fine.
Friendly, polite, helpful staff. Free drink on arrival nice touch. Spotlessly clean, trendy rooms. Great shower. Lively bar attached. Central Edinburgh. Couldn't ask for better, will return:0)
