Tailors Hall Hotel

二度目ですが、エディンバラの下町ホテルという感じです。パブを併設していて、サッカーの日は地元のサッカ- ーファンの集合場所なので、夜まで騒がしく、部屋によっては眠りにくい人はいるかもしれません。地元の雰囲- 気を味わうには非常にいいホテルです。駅やロイヤルマイルには近いので便利です。エディンバラではアップダ- ウンがあり、谷間に位置する通りにあるため、よく調べてから行くほうがよいです。一度場所を覚えればあとは- 問題ありません。荷物もチェックアウト後も当日は預かってくれます。

I appreciated the location of the hotel. The attached 3 Sisters Pub was a nice plus.

Bed comfort

The internet connection was nor working with the Windows Vista. This could be a very important point to solve.

Location

First room had screw holes in all the walls the bathroom was mouldy, the seal on the shower screen was broken and mouldy allowing water to flood bathroom when showering.we could not have the window open because of the smell of cooking from the hotel kitchens also the staff used the dirty courtyard area below our room as a smoking area and we were woken up at 3am by bottles being emptied into a skip, we did complain and were moved to a better room for 2 nights and refunded half of first night stay .breakfast was very disapointing very greasy and no white sugar available !

It was located cose to the center of everything. The room was well- designed.

The water runs way too fast (like 2 mins to fill a tub). I booked as a single and the rooms offered were awful with very small beds. I upgraded for an extra 7 pounds and got a room three times the size - tay away from the singles!

Comfortable bed.Tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. Good central location for main sights in edinburgh. Sight seeing tour bus stopped outside the hotel. Reception staff were helpful when we needed to visit a doctor.

The room was very warm and we didnt want to open the window in the evening due to the noise from the bar below and the busy traffic on the road in the morning,

The location is ideal for all of Edinburghs sights

I reported the toilet seat being broken and was told it would be repaired however it wasn't. I was going to complain on checking out as I felt our breakfast should have been free due to this but didnt want to be seen as an awkward customer.

The location was good. It was close to the museum and quite close to the Edinburgh Castle.

The hotel was a little too dark and a little too noisy. I took a very long time to look for the hotel and the staff answering my call was not very helpful.

very noisey at night and felt out of place. could not even go for a walk, as too many youngsters there.i had no phone reception, so i had to keep going outside for coverage.

The hotel receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful; I don;t ask too much from a hotel, but the staff are often the difference between a pleasent or not so pleasent stay!

Reception was very good, helpful and very kind.

The bed was rather uncomfortable!
