GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
No hassle reception
- cleaning, - staff
- kitchen close so early
Food was very good with a good atmosphere in the pub
A fantastic selection of dishes on the menu. Catered for all tastes. The staff were very helpful and sincere Frank the manager was always around , happy and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was very warm in the evenings. Probably due to its location above the kitchens. Wonder how the summer months would be.
Convenient for our purpose.
Secondary glazing inadequate as so close to main road.
Friendly staff and good food.
The rate for B&B was more than reasonable for the location and quality. Staff were friendly and approachable. Didn't hear any traffic noise despite the hotel being so close to the road! The outdoor area looks like it would be wonderful in the summer.
Nothing really. Breakfast wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible. Room was a bit sparce but clean and more than served it's purpose so hard to criticise.
staff and comfort
NO LIFT, with all rooms upstairs
Friendliness of staff
smell of damp in room 4
Everything, but in particular the friendliness of the staff, always very helpful and polite.
No Negative comments
The whole package was excellent staff where amazing. Great place to stay at an excellent price
our room was a good size and equipped with everything you need. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast.
As soon as we walked into the hotel it had a warm and friendly atmosphere. We decided to stay in the hotel for a meal which was good - also had 20% discount on menu prices as residents which included our guests. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Throughout, staff were friendly, obliging and helpful. Would stay again without question.
good location by A55, but still quiet, huge well lit car park Very polite and helpful staff. Huge bedroom Good breakfast Good evening meal -v.good value
No wardrobe-drawers in bedroom, just a hanging rail No telephone in bedroom. Plenty of towels, but no facecloth
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful the food was excellent and great value. We had a really good nights sleep wish we had stayed longer room 1 is huge and well worth more than we paid.
Spacious room and comfortable bed. Efficient and attentive staff. Good breakfast.
Bar menu in evening ok but slightly limited for vegetarians.
Room was very spacious and clean. Loved the bathroom and the comfort of having a bath. Bed was very comfortable. A lovely touch was the Christmas card left by the cleaning personnel to wish us a Merry Christmas. Plenty of free parking available which is fantastic. Conveniently close drive to Conwy Castle.
The room was very hot, even after we turned off all radiators and had to end up sleeping with an open window. The food unfortunately was a let down considering what a lovely place the entire hotel and restaurant/pub area is.
Staff very helpful Breakfast excellent
No double glazing in our room
We have always wanted to stay around St Asaph and this hotel was great and we were pleased we stopped there.

We had a slight problem getting in after the premises closed as we weren't made aware of a night entrance....this was quickly sorted and didn't spoil our stay!!!
