Staff were very friendly and helpful. room was very spacious and clean lovely decor. bed was very comfortable. excellent amount of tea coffee sugar in the room which was much needed after a long journey. breakfast was wonderful lots of choice.
only 1 thing shower was a little slow but managable.
The accommodation was in the rear courtyard away from any disturbance from the Bar etc. It was clean and modern and had great facilities. Definitely value for money. The breakfast was delicious.
very reasonable rates
Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was located just across the courtyard from the pub which meant we heard very little noise.
Bathroom could do with a little updating.
The room was well laid out. Bar area was good and the breakfast excellent. We ate there on the first night and very good. Excellent location for the town and snow dome.
Room a bit cold but it was minus 4 at times outside. 2 radiators in room. Really needed an external door
Nice set up and good staff
Shower was awful, towels where old and well used
Nice warm comfortable room just a few steps away from the hotel. Good car parking. Would have had a meal at very reasonable prices, but being just before christmas, it was very busy (parties I think).
It was just a little bit off the beaten track if you were heading north up the A5 as we were, but we found it ok.
Staff were lovely and very friendly, food was very good
The facilities in our room was not up to standard and were in need of repairs and maintanence.
Staff friendly clean and comfy
everyone from the owner to the cleaners are very kind and courteous at all times. The food first rate, served by professional, friendly staff
not a lot
Location and WiFi good. Everything else was fair.
Wouldn't go out of my way to stay again but fair enough I guess you can't expect a lot when they are holding a festive party/pile up.
Very friendly and helpful staff
En suite very small and cramped
Good Breakfast Plenty of tea & coffee in the room Loads of towels in the bathroom
Nothing to dislike for the price.
Great value Nice room Nice friendly pub Good food
The bed was comfy. Location good.
I'm originally from Tamworth and like to support local businesses where possible and have stayed at the Tamworth Arms before. However I was very disappointed this time. The room had been decorated but just painted over old décor and this was obvious. When you flushed the toilet the most horrendous stench came out of the sink overflow, from the macerator under the loo I presume, the cleaning of units was poor with dust on shelves only found when you took your clothes off them and they were covered in dust. The bed sheets had stains on them and were worn to the point of being torn. There were pillows on the bed which had stains over them and were torn and overall very disappointed. Our room was number 7 and I would say avoid it if you want a quiet evening or early night due to it being over the bar. There was another issue with our toiletries bag being interfered with but I cannot say by whom or exactly when, but this was another upset. We did speak to the management about this and whilst they listened to us, there was no apology from them over the issues wew raised. Sad to say I would not recommend the Tamworth Arms on this occasion and I know I didn't pay to stay at the Ritz but it was not worth what we paid considering the poor state of the room.
Papa Johns 30 seconds away :) Friendly Staff Great Breakfast Nice pub Clean
Beds werent that great Shower was poor
Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was great, room welcoming and comfy, parking right outside, location great as very close to town, will stay again.
Great food great music lovely people and got engaged!!!never forget the tamworth arms!!
Bathroom wasn't very clean
Service and welcome from staff at Tamworth Arms was superb. Evening meals were lovely. Good Breakfast selection. Short drive to Drayton Manor. Comfortable beds. Family room was well presented with two TVs and plenty of tea and coffee supplies.
Bathroom needs some intensive cleaning: new shower head, new silicone etc.
Good Pub Food Decent decor Good TV Price Good parking
Some soap in the bathroom would be good
Excellently situated, good clean room, very good breakfast and great value for money.
Staff very helpful. Evening meal hot and freshly cooked. Owner sorted bedroom radiator problem quickly.
Electric shower was very temperamental. One moment hot, the next cold. Street lights outside made bedroom very light. Busy road meant no need for an alarm clock!
Friendly staff, good food and only a five minute walk from the town centre. Fantastic value for money.
Bathroom was a bit small & the bed was a bit hard, otherwise would get an excellent all through.
